Re: Hunting rufle trigger weight

If you don't have a trigger weight scale to measure the pull weight, why are you concerned about the number? Trigger pull is a personal preference. Just pull the action out of the stock and adjust it to where it feels right to you. Tikka triggers are easy enough to adjust. Just turn the set screw in...

Re: Supreme Court's most gun-friendly justice is in big trouble.

Remember that impeachment is a political remedy. No need for guilt or rule of law. If they can get 50%+1 in the house to vote for charges, and a majority in the senate to impeach, you are gone. Actually, the procedure for impeaching a Supreme Court Justice is the same as the President. You need a s...

Re: A question about initiatives and referendums

As long as the left can mobilize their useful idiot base, initiative & referendum is a bad idea.

Mpls Convention Center?

My Son wants me to take him to the Auto Show this year. It's moved back into the Convention and I'm wondering, as I haven't been there in years, if they have metal detectors or are wanding entrants?

Re: Transcripts of assistant DA show her refusing over a dozen g

Carrying a machine gun?

I guess that could be a Glock with an auto sear, and not the M60 I see in my imagination.

Re: Minnesota reports 38% drop in new gun permits

The headline is purposefully misleading to make it look as though the total number of permits has declined, so there's no reason for you to get one.

Re: Seized machine gun headed to Camp Ripley museum

Welding is not considered a legal way to dewar (dewat?) a firearm. IIRC, receivers need to be rendered non-functional by cutting in half. The CMP was selling 03 Springfield "drill rifles" that had the bolts welded closed a few years ago. They needed to be transferred just as any functionin...

Re: Gun safety bills gain in Minnesota amid Democratic control

Is it time to go the scofflaw/ civil disobedience route and say "bugger your g-d law", and face the consequences? How do you do that? If a red flag call comes in and the show up and you disobey I am guessing it ends in a bit more than civil disobedience… If you're ordered to turn in your ...

It would suck even more if they were low yield nukes designed for maximum EMP burst.
