Re: Is the panic over?

The last LRP's I bought were from Cabala's grand opening in Owatanna, $9.95 per 1000.

Re: .22 Ammo Production Video

Wow, 4 million rounds a day. That's almost 1.5 billion rounds a year.

Re: UN Arms: “United States would vote “yes” on the treaty”

I stand corrected, they're at least 3 to 4 times the number of people watching :rotf:

I love the way the anti's never show the number of people in the crowd at their rallies. I have no doubt there were more people on stage than in the crowd.

Re: .308 Win Target/Hunting Loads

If your getting 1/2" groups at 200 yards I wouldn't waste money on Lapua brass. Not that Lapua is bad but it isn't that much better than Remington or Winchester to justify the 2x cost.

Re: CT Shooter...

Several years ago in London, the media freaked out and the bomb squad was called in because someone found a 22LR cartridge on the street.

Not a good omen for where the anti's want to take us.

Re: Cops Disarmed By Ammo-Hoarding Gun Nuts

Oh, and if cops are running short on ammunition, maybe they could ask the Department of Homeland Security to share. Fifteen members of Congress recently wrote (PDF) to Janet Napolitano to ask why DHS needs to buy 1.6 billion rounds of ammo when the federal government is pleading poverty. Or better ...

Re: Stainless steel DPMS lower?

I remember when DPMS offered those. IIRC they retailed for around $300. They must not have sold very well as I remember a friend picking one up on closeout for around $100.

Re: Gun Insurance is the next agenda item

Well, there are gun injuries that are not related to someone stealing your vehicle. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/nc-father-kills-son-10-cleaning-gun-18810718 I agree, and if thats what the anti's were proposing we'd have something to talk about. However, what they're proposing is insuring aga...

Re: Gun Insurance is the next agenda item

You'll need to register your hands with the state as deadly weapons  In reality ,If you are a trained fighter. You are held to a different standard if you end up in court for a physical altercation. The analogy to 'gun insurance' would be you, as trained in the martial arts, having to pay a pr...

Re: Winchester 1400, what's your impression of the gun?

The M1400 was my first gun. I bought it new at Monkey Wards in Midway for $128 in the mid 70's. I dispatched many pheasants and clay targets with it over the years and then raised two boys who hunted and shot with it. The only trouble it ever gave me was when I started reloading. After several hundr...

Re: 2013 Post 435 Service Rifle Clinic

It's going to depend on how big of group we have. I would count on about 5pm but if you need to leave early we might be able to work around it.
