Re: Need recommendations for high-end, 5.56 long-range upper.

of all the points that will get you attention, it's in the lower. I have seen more matches lost from someone filing a challenge on a rifles trigger than anything. (not that there's been many). But that's the one point that really sinks you if someone challenges your rifle. Rip would be better to in...

Re: Any long distance shooting instructors?

Glad this was posted as I planned to post something similar. I will probably not be able to begin shooting distance until spring now with deer hunting here and cold here. I have a .17 HMR I would like to get proficient with, and will likely have a .22 rifle here shortly. I do have a semi auto I got...

Re: Any long distance shooting instructors?

What is it you intend to learn? or what kind of shooting do you plan to do?

There are plenty of competitive shooting sports and venues locally.

Here's an example of some, MRRA .org

Re: Bad idea jeans - setting off primers

I'd like to know just what the OP was trying to accomplish....... :? Going back I think he was trying to determine if the primer of a round of 50's vintage .30-06 M2 ball was corrosive or not. He got all kinds of advice, including the one above. This use to be a fairly quick and benign way of testi...

Re: Berger 185 "Juggernaut"

So, thats how you shot so good at 1000 Saturday, magic bullets! In all seriousness, I didn't feel under gunned using the SMK 155's (2156). I'm confident that all the points I lost were because of me not being use to dancing with Miss Maddie Ross and her aperture sights than wind. I'm still surprised...

Re: KABOOM at OGC

Don't you OGC guys have a log to record who is using your range and at what time they're there? Card reader at the gate .......but when the gate is open for public no need for members to swipe a card Wow, that surprises me. All joking aside, I would think for liability reasons the club would want t...
