Re: WTH does Minneapolis think they are doing?

Kind of an off topic question, is it common for a restaurant downtown to be open at 2:30am?

Re: Selector issue with AR build

The channel in the sector is cut fairly deep. I don't think your detent is engaging it properly.

Re: Selector issue with AR build

The detent isn't sticking through the hole enough, there must be a burr or something in the hole.

Re: Selector issue with AR build

Is it possible that the detent hole is out of spec? I tried to pass a #22 drill bit through the hole (installation book said the holes should be cleaned by hand twisting with this size bit). Does this mean the lower is out of spec? Thanks in advance Did the drill bit go through? The way you wrote t...

Re: New Lawsuit Argues That Customizable Rifles Are Illegal

All joking aside, how much political capital should the NRA spend on a losing battle?

Despite of all it's warts, the NRA still instills fear into the hearts of the anti's. How much of that clout would NRA have lost if they opposed the ban and it was implemented anyway?

Wouldn't matter. If the anti's hadn't used this, they would have just made up some other reason.

Re: Isn't Amy Comey Bennet on Trump's short list?

Judge Barrett’s Dissent in Second Amendment Case History is consistent with common sense: it demonstrates that legislatures have the power to prohibit dangerous people from possessing guns. But that power extends only to people who are dangerous. Founding-era legislatures did not strip felons of th...

Rumor has it that she'll be Trump's appointee to replace RBG.

Re: Mass shooting at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand

Condensed version:

The evil semi-auto rifles aren't registered after all. NZ authorities have no idea how many there are, or who has them. Gun owners are balking at the compensation amount, and only 700 have been turned in so far.

The amnesty ends in December.

Re: Danielle Stella in MN CD5, 2020?

It's a wonderful fantasy to think of, but that's all it is. Omar isn't going anywhere, even if she's convicted. If by some twist of fate she isn't polling well, the DFL will just replace her on the ballot and the courts in this state will fall all over themselves to allow it, no matter how many shen...

Re: Defense rests in trial of Minneapolis officer Noor

That sounds horrible but I'd need some evidence to support that statement. The best example I can find on short notice. 8/27/2014 Extortion: Radical Democrat activist groups stand to collect millions from Attorney General Eric Holder's record $17 billion deal to settle alleged mortgage abuse charge...

Re: Defense rests in trial of Minneapolis officer Noor

Its an ingenious way to fund a program from a pot of insurance money that has very strict rules on how it can be used. No need to raise taxes, yet, and the optics of it look and sound good. Expect this type of "donation" to happen more often with these types of funds. This happened a lot ...
