Re: SOTA Arms...

Evan, did you forget the part where you were asked to bring it by the shop to check it out and then you didn't and continued to bash it. From what I hear, the new owner loves it and all his mags drop free. So can we assume you are with SOTA arms? While I can appreciate wanting to set the record str...

Re: Hornady LNL AP Press Questions

tighten the shell plate better - insert your sizing die, run the ram to the top now tighten.

The reason they had problems at first was the ejector, they fixed that years ago. I still run the old ejector on mine but I've modified the shape of it to work quite well

Re: AR-15 ejection.

Odds that its the chamber are incredibly slim unless you bought a crap barrel and bolt.

Odds are that the gas block isn't straight over the gas port partially blocking it, or gas rings on the bolt are missing, or something along those lines.

Re: Re: Good case trimming tool?

What does it index off of? It doesn't look like it is long enough to reach the case head. Does it operate on the theory that all your brass is of the same dimension from the head to the neck? I'm sorry for being a pain but I'm trying to understand how it gets a repeatable trim length. I believe tha...

Re: SBR 300 BLK tips

Jim, you'll probably find that you won't get subs to cycle reliably even with a 1/8" gas port on your 7.5"

I had to custom make my gas system. My original 7.5" 300WTF has 2 plugged gas ports 8-)

Re: SBR 300 BLK tips

I'm probably one of the very few who have successfully made sub 10.5" barrels. There is a secret to making them work with subs. If you're shooting supersonic ONLY you can run them. I have never run supersonic bullets through my 7.5" barrels, only subs. Here is one of my 7.5" barrels w...
