Re: Shhhh! Don't tell anyone.

I'm one of those weird guys. I really like my 1911, but I also really like my wife's Glock.
Congrats on your new acquisition!

Re: It is rude to approach someone and give advice

I'm of the school of thought that unsolicited advice is rude on any front........ However, at the range; If somene is being unsafe, they will get advice from me whether it's rude or not. If someone is obviously struggling and doesn't have anyone there with them that seems to be experienced, I will ...

Re: GLock Match at OGC this weekend.... When does it end?

You know what you could do? You could come back up to ICSClub with, say, a member, and do your shooting there. Oh, then that member could get out of a girl scout meeting at Lake George because "Strad needs my help"

Ya know?

I'm just sayin'.

Re: Local source for bulk Desiccant?

Strad, it seems like a lost cause. In my professional opinion you need to get rid of it and all contents. I'll come by later today to dispose of it if you'd like.

(Had to be said.)

Re: Local source for bulk Desiccant?

My dad was a machinist/tool and die/supervisor and he got all his from the shop, they'd send big bags of it along with machining parts. Check someplace like that? Or drive up here and grab one of mine until you find another.

Re: Teaching a lefty

I'm left handed and do almost everything left handed except bat and shoot. I can switch batting either way, and can shoot either way. I have three older brothers who are all right handed and was just taught to shoot right handed. Having said that, I agree with the above, let him figure out whats com...
