Re: J frames

I had a 649 in 38SPL a few years ago that was nice. They have what I would call a shielded hammer so it won't snag but you can still draw it back if you want SA. Trigger and overall quality was nice, it shot well, and was reasonably accurate at self defense range. Reason I got rid of it was I wanted...

Re: FFL for NoDak Spud purchase

I ordered a NoDak Spud receiver from Wild Goose Sports on Rochester and I think they only charged me $25 for the FFL fee.

AK build question

I picked up a Polish underfolder parts kit from Midway and now shopping for barrel and 100% receiver. The kit is complete with matching s/n's and the parts appear to be in good shape but lots of finish wear. I'm considering keeping the 'used' look so will try to give the barrel and receiver a blued ...

Holster references for Buckmark

I am considering a purchase of a Browning Buckmark Camper and my intention would be to install a Tactical Solutions Trail-Lite barrel and compensator. I have been looking for a holster to be used at the range and in the field. Does anyone here have a Buckmark (or longer barrel Ruger Mark) with a hol...

Re: OBAMA TO CIRCUMVENT CONGRESS WITH ‘GAG ORDER’ ON FIREARM COV

I wonder when the liberal biased media will catch on that their favorite elected official who so openly tries to repeal the 2nd amendment is also attacking their prized 1st amendment.

Re: 22 ammo shortage ease up yet?

I understand the whole Econ 101 refreshers on supply and demand that a lot of people give but there must have been an Econ 102 class called "How Hoarding and Profiteering Under A Politically Unfriendly Govern Affects Natural Supply and Demand". Or maybe that was in the catalog for business...

Re: GOCRA the undisputed leader

Yes, thanks to GOCRA and MnGOPAC for all their work helping to drive this and to everyone that called, emailed, and petitioned to show how many Minnesotans were behind it.

Re: Online vs. Store Ammo

I've wondered, how long will Cabela's normally hold it for you to pick up?

Re: Suppressor, Second Amendment bills hearing scheduled!

It looks like they might need another committee to oversee the subcommittee on the Committees of the Committee on Rules and Administration. Of course there would have to be a committee from the House and Senate to determine who belongs on that committee.

Re: Suppressor, Second Amendment bills hearing scheduled!

Of course the media isn't concerned with all the regulation, cost, and process to actually purchase a suppressor and the fact that if a criminal wants one they can already easily make one, They keep stressing that shot spotters won't be able to pick up the sound of someone being murdered, so I guess...

Re: Project Appleseed recommendations?

I've got a 10/22 with scope and trigger upgrade and it's a great shooter but I picked up a 795 at Fleet Farm on sale a couple years ago and I think it's actually a nicer shooter. With tech sights, sling, and extra mag I'm still under $200. I've wanted to do an appleseed too, maybe this year I'll act...

Re: 2015 Wells Gun Show

I thought it was good. I like the large rooms versus narrow hallways of the old building which made it a lot easier to walk around and actually get to a table to see items and talk to vendors. Saw and talked to some familiar vendors which was nice but it will take another year for me to remember whe...

Re: Suppressor, Second Amendment bills hearing scheduled!

Watching the replay now. So HM's best argument is that we shouldn't repeal the suppressor ban because the Federal gun regulations are under 'attack'?????
