Re: Anyone have experience with the Ruger LC9?

Not to change the subject, but I just picked up a Beretta Nano. I nixed the LC9 because I didn't like the trigger. Anyways, the Nano's dimensions are similar to the LC9. You should check one out.

Re: Getting an SBR in Minneapolis

If you go the trust route, no CLEO signature required. Trust.. I have never heard of that and the link is blocked on my work computer so I will check it out. I am considering going the trust route since I don't want to get permission from my local CLEO every time I want to manufacture a SBR. From m...

No kidding. I remember buying a Romanian SAR-1 7 years ago for $329.

I was actually surprised that Fleet Farm sells surplus rifles like the WASR's.

GP WASR-10 Sale at Fleetfarm

FYI, Fleet Farm has GP WASR-10s on sale. Standard stock is $399. The Underfolder is $439. The UF comes with 1 tapco 30 rd mag, 3 steel 30 rd mags, bayonet/scabbard, mag pouch, and oil bottle. Not too bad for the price, considering you can inspect and hand pick. Mine is in pretty good shape...no site...

Re: Where to buy new guns at the best price?

I have purchased a couple of firearms from Brad at the link below. He doesn't have a "shop" to go to, so you have to set up an appointment. You pretty much have to know what you want before you meet. Prices seem pretty reasonable. http://www.davidsonsinc.com/consumers/subsites/dealer_home....

Re: MPPOA position on CCW

I did end up sending a small donation, with a letter stating that any further donations would depend on a re-evaluation of their policies and behavior. I requested unequivocal support and action on their part and not reticence or resistance to future 2nd Amendment related legislation. Writing the le...

Re: MPPOA position on CCW

My understanding from reading past postings on the twincitiescarry.com forums is that the MPPOA has vigorously fought against citizen carry. There was a posting on that forum discouraging support of the organization. Thanks. This will be a chance for me to send them a letter stating my position.......

MPPOA position on CCW

Hey,

Anyone know if the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association(MPPOA) supported the passage of MPPA? Do they encourage citizen CCW?

I received a request for donation, but the amount will depend on their stance on that issue.

Thanks, Tony
