Re: carrying cased long gun on motorcycle

I'm curious on this one. I've read that the law doesn't specifically say "handgun" and while the permit says "Pistol", the actual wording of the law allows a person to carry whatever firearm they wish whether it be a pistol, revolver, AR-15, shotgun, etc. Granted you may get som...

Re: Steel targets

Downward slope helps direct splatter into the ground, If the bullet strikes that carriage bolt used for mounting all bets are off in which direction the splatter is headed.

Also makes the plate slightly thicker amount of steel in relation to the bullets flight path, Think how sloped armor works.

I would be happy to meet up at the range some time for you to try mine out.

I think the washout is over rated... if your dot is washed out you have plenty of light for your BUIS.[/quote]

I may just have to take you up on this.
Do you frequent any of the local ranges?

Re: Red Dots on Handguns

Looking at this for EDC Ageing eyes means glasses and bifocals, Lasik not a option. A low mounted RMR looks like it would fit in most edc holsters and doesn't appear like it would really print much if anything extra. Cover garment should take care of most rain, snow, mud. BUIS should help in the eve...

How high over bore axis?
Do you use any of the 4 for EDC?

Re: Red Dots on Handguns

Wish S&W would make a M&P compact C.O.R.E. instead of having to send the slide out to be milled.
