Police involved shooting in Brooklyn Center

Who would have ever thought that making tasers in the shape of a pistol and holstering them on the belt would ever cause confusion? This isn't the first time this has happened. That's pretty *******. Gunman kills eight in massage parlor shootings

Please tell me he used an ordinary handgun or even a hunting shotgun rather than an evil black "assault weapon". Reports I heard suggested a handgun. In that case the story will likely fade away, especially if the shooter is a minority, an illegal, or muslim.... Nope, this one was a white...

Divide that by 300,000,000 guns, that leave about 46 rounds per gun. It’s not going to get better for a while. https://www.ammo...

This Encrypted Gun Registry Might Bridge a Partisan Divide

I like how they market the DB as encrypted, as if that will prevent misuse by those who have access to it.

Lobbying is done by the NRA-ILA, which I believe is separate.

National Rifle Association Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

I’m optimistic that it’s just a reorg, and the bankruptcy protects them from the crap NY is pulling.

The Olmsted county sheriff was on KROC AM this morning, he stated that the number of applications for permits has increased greatly. They usually had 1 person working on permits full time, now they have five. He also stated that one reason why they are requiring appointments (besides COVID) was to l...

'Everytown' Staffer Admits the Group Is Scheming Voters

I've recently been getting ads on Pandora which attack MN Republican state senators on economic/tax policy stuff, never mentioning guns, and then at the end, "paid for by Every Town for Gun Safety Action Fund." Strikes me that if they're campaigning in ways completely unrelated to their c...

Unloved Handguns

On a whim I bought a polymer Taurus .357 magnum. Small, light, and incredibly unpleasant to shoot. Even with .38 special rounds it’s still pretty bad.

Minneapolis police tell residents to obey criminals

The magnetic field only gets turned off when the MRI is decommissioned. Its quite a process to magnetize and to quench the magnet.
