George Zimmerman sues family of Trayvon Martin, publisher...

My understanding is that the Martin family has been harassing him (or he perceived harassment), and that this is a way to get it to stop. A bit of money probably is a motivator I’m sure.

Criminal Complaint in the Rochester Shooting

Apparently mistrial doesn’t trigger double jeopardy, so they can play the game until they get the results that they want (or he does get acquitted).

Based on the prosecutor’s comments in the news, I suspect that he’s feeling pressure to try the case again. But we’ll see next month.

Don’t the Colt AR’s have a rep for being a bit overpriced? My understanding is that you’re for the name.

Feds Demand Names of 10,000+ Users Of A Gun Scope App

What I don't get is why the ap is more objectionable to the government than the scopes themselves.

I don’t think that they care about the app, they’re just using it to track who has the scopes, and where they have them.

An interesting discussion on background checks

Without registration, they could probably track new guns from the time after a law was passed. They could do a search on the SN to see where it was sold, and find who the original purchaser was. Very tedious work, and won’t do anything for the 300+ million guns already out there.

Fleet Farm drops "Assault Style Rifles"

Has this been verified? I’m not seeing on the FF website or news anywhere. But, if true I’ll be doing a lot less shopping there.

A heart warming image.

Mountain bike bars and no clips are much more tactical, though you’re right about the seat height and tire pressure.
