Re: Benelli SuperNova Field 12ga.

Dutch

The only lube you might want to put in your tube is powdered graphite, no liquid it will only gunk up on you. I have never used any lube in the mag tube of my shotguns.

Re: 10-05-13 SCAPSA 3-Gun Match Announcement

This was a fun match. Squad 1 was a great crew and reset went very fast. Some new and upcoming shooters were showing their stuff, very impressive, it was a pleasure to watch. As usual I am so impressed with Allen Emblom and his ability to run and gun with the best shooting Tac Iron and faster on his...

Re: FLSC/MN3GG 3-Gun Match - September 7, 2013

NPayne and fabb600 hit it on the head. A great match made better by a great squad. Some of our shooters worked all night the previous night, drove 3 hrs. to make the shoot, knowing they had a 3 hr. drive home and another night shift waiting for them, Wow! First, thanks to Ron and Dawn for being such...

Re: Elk hunt in Montana

If you have never ridden horse, taking a few lessons from a local stable will help ease any tension you may have around the animals. Wear your hunting pants while taking a few lessons, it might teach you where the saddle sores will crop up and how to avoid them. As unmanly as it may seem, panty hose...

Re: Local smith to dovetail 10/22 rear sight on vent rib barrel

Paul Grundhauser did one for my M2, I just use a Tom Knapp bead for the front sight. Grundhauser Gun Works search should come up with Paul's information.

Re: SCAPSA/MN3GG 3-Gun Match - August 24, 2013

I just wanted to make a quick note about the success of the MN3GunGroup. We were told from the start that the idea a group of local shooters had to get this "group" started, would never work. I had to admit that I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. Now to see our little group ...

Re: SCAPSA/MN3GG 3-Gun Match - August 24, 2013

Wow! what a great match. Fun stages with some shooting challenges that I haven't had the pleasure of shooting before. I found that I hate kneeling and sitting rifle positions. Maybe it has something to do with age and girth. It gives me something to work on that is for sure. Squad 2 was a great squa...

Re: SCAPSA/MN3GG 3-Gun Match - August 24, 2013

I was assured that if you win a match, no one will remember how ugly your guns were. I hope to find that out sometime in the near future.

Jonahk,

Have you practiced clearing malfunctions where your shells were "accidentally" loaded backwards? I'm just sayin'. I will help you any way that I can. What are friends for?

I did a bunch more hoggin' out of the loading port on my Vinci. I now have the most butt ugly shotgun on the planet, but she rocks the reloads.
