Re: An interesting discussion on background checks

But they won't because the same people who demonize AR-15s would find some way to claim that short-barreled shotguns and rifles are "assault weapons" or some such.

Just as WalMart will no longer sell "short-barrel rifle or pistol ammunition".

Re: Question from a Texan

Does anyone have a map showing what counties charge for their Permit To Carry? Steele county was $100 but they offer a steep discount for former police and military. As a non-resident of MN, you can apply to any county. All applications should be the same. As far as the required training goes, there...

Re: A heart warming image.

He's riding one handed.

If he brakes, it will be with the front wheel only and will crash.

At least he is not on his phone.

Does the new cell phone law apply when riding a bike?

Re: Moving a safe, ideas?

I moved my safe by myself. I cut several pieces of 1-1/2 or 2 inch PVC the width of the base. Tipped the safe up to put the pieces under it and rolled it along the floor moving the pieces of PVC as they rolled from under the base. If needed, you can put 2x4's under the base if the base is hollow. To...

Re: Shooting at Virginia Beach Municipal Center

Have the 2 handguns used, the "high capacity" magazines used or the suppressor used been specifically identified anywhere?

Re: 2019 Legislature-Will we be thrown under the bus?

Any chance they try to slide it back in?

Anything can be introduced when the Governor calls a "Special Session", although there is usually an agreement what will be voted on.

(I have also tried Glock 43, Sig 938 and Shield 9 mm.) I also carried a SW 642, pocket holster for several years. Small revolvers are fin...
