ATF call & e-mail

I just got a call and and e-mail from the ATF concerning an attempted burglary in my area. I live in south central MN. Anyone else get a message like this? I am a CRFFL only. This is an important message from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. A Federal firearms licensee in you...

Re: AR9 suggestions?

CMMG Banshee 45 ACP received yesterday (5-20). I returned it for frequent jamming on 4-28 after waiting for approval to return because of the COVID 19 virus. I put about 200 rounds through it. No problems. I used several varieties of 45 ACP; even my 200 gr SWC which they do not recommend using in th...

Re: Gen 2 Sub 2000

I had the same problem with mine. I shortened the front sight post to zero it. Windage was not a problem. I looked at trying to build a longer rear sight but it looked too completed for my machining skills. I do not like the side posts to protect front sight. They look too much like the front sight ...

Re: Glock 43 vs. SIG 365

It works for me, but as a gun nut I doubt the perfect gun exists

Re: Glock 43 vs. SIG 365

I have have a G43, P365 and P365 XL. The P365XL is my daily carry gun in a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2. The G43 and P365 are good but I found them a little small. The P365XL is easier to shoot and carries just as well. The only reason I would choose the G43 or P365 is if I was to pocket carry them. The ...

Re: AR9 suggestions?

I purchased a new CMMG Banshee 45 ACP about a month ago. It jams almost every round. I contacted CMMG and they said they will TRY to arrange for me to return it by April 17. They know of the problems with it and are working on a fix.

What do you base that information on? I know several that are still open to members shooting individually.

Re: Dakota County RANGE CLOSED (for coronavirus)

There no executive order 20-40.

There is an executive order 20-04 that probably should be referencing but it does not specify gun ranges.

Re: She Said He Said He Saw Demons - Red Flag Laws

Montgomery later testified, she had done no investigation beyond talking to Joanie Morgan and reading her petitions. Montgomery said she subsequently discovered there was no basis for the claim that Kevin Morgan had violated the injunction by visiting the house. Another example of government offici...

Re: Altor Pistol

If you haven't watched the trigger operation closely; as the trigger is pulled back, there is a ramp on the frame that forces the trigger finger down off the trigger allowing the trigger to return forward allowing the firing pin to fire the round. There is no sear, the finger sliding off the trigger...
