Re: Primers, Powder, and 9mm

When my wife worked in customer service Cabela's (before we were married 15 years ago) they also had the sign "No return on ammo". Occasionally they would let employees (or their spouse/boyfriend) in the back room to buy the "returned" ammo at about 10 % or less of the price on t...

Re: .30 cal okay to use for 6.5c reloading?

I think the bullet size is comparable and a cursory search tells me it is.

Re: ATF call & e-mail

I went to the Owatonna Fleet Farm this morning for some furnace filters. Most of the guns were on display. The area where they usually keep the "Tactical" (AR / AK) rifles was empty. They had plywood staged by the entrance along with full pallets to block off the entrance. They also had pa...

Re: ATF call & e-mail

A friend just called me and the Owatonna Fleet Farm store pulled all their firearms from the store this evening because of the looting of guns from their Souix Falls store by protesters this weekend. Owatonna had a small protest demonstration this weekend. I found just a brief mention when Googled. ...

ATF call & e-mail

I just got a call and and e-mail from the ATF concerning an attempted burglary in my area. I live in south central MN. Anyone else get a message like this? I am a CRFFL only. This is an important message from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. A Federal firearms licensee in you...

Re: AR9 suggestions?

CMMG Banshee 45 ACP received yesterday (5-20). I returned it for frequent jamming on 4-28 after waiting for approval to return because of the COVID 19 virus. I put about 200 rounds through it. No problems. I used several varieties of 45 ACP; even my 200 gr SWC which they do not recommend using in th...

Re: Gen 2 Sub 2000

I had the same problem with mine. I shortened the front sight post to zero it. Windage was not a problem. I looked at trying to build a longer rear sight but it looked too completed for my machining skills. I do not like the side posts to protect front sight. They look too much like the front sight ...

Re: Glock 43 vs. SIG 365

I have have a G43, P365 and P365 XL. The P365XL is my daily carry gun in a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2. The G43 and P365 are good but I found them a little small. The P365XL is easier to shoot and carries just as well. The only reason I would choose the G43 or P365 is if I was to pocket carry them. The ...

Re: AR9 suggestions?

I purchased a new CMMG Banshee 45 ACP about a month ago. It jams almost every round. I contacted CMMG and they said they will TRY to arrange for me to return it by April 17. They know of the problems with it and are working on a fix.

What do you base that information on? I know several that are still open to members shooting individually.
