Re: Officers shoot and kill man in his home during raid

Because a no-knock can and often has resulted in unnecessary death and damage to property, the least amount of force and violence should be utilized when executing a warrant. I dispute the assertion that it's often. It's like the instances of school shootings. Highly publicized but infrequent. Sent...

Re: 212 shut down police chase

When a police force has surrounded 2 people, one bad guy is with a knife against dozens of guns. They weren't even close to a cop. How could the cops be in danger?? it's not a one on one situation like you mention. There was no reason to kill them in that scenario. I hope the cops who shot them are...

Re: No Billed for Killing Deputy Sheriff

This incident goes back to The War on Drugs; the primary concern in this case was marijuana. The war on drugs should focus on everything but MJ. MJ should be downgraded and sold through drugs stores. Way to much killing & prison time over a "drug" that is as dangerous (or even less so,...

Re: Officers shoot and kill man in his home during raid

Until it happens to a truly innocent politician or a very wealthy & connected person, nothing will change. Once it happens to an innocent member of the "upper echelon", the overall view of the logistics of these type of invasions will change. But not until then. Buy a scanner so you at...

Re: Process to apply for the Flordia C&C reciprocity

The live scan machines create a computer file, correct?

What's to say that they don't keep a copy of your prints? I don't believe that I am required to have my prints on file at the local sheriff. but I'll bet $20 they would be kept on file anyway.

Just sayin'....

Re: CNBC's "America's Gun: The Rise of the AR-15"

They posted a stat on Twitter last night. It proclaimed that they are over 59,000 gun shops in America, which is more than some national fast food chains and coffee shop chains combined.

I tweeted back "You need to be alive to eat"

Take that CNBC!

Re: Want to Thank Heidi Heitkamp from a Nodak Ex Pat

Wait, I thought they were ALL demoncrats and libtards..... Your point is valid goalie, but why stir it up when an olive branch is being extended? Better to be thankful that someone might see it differently. And, to be clear, it is commendable that she voted her conscience, not the party line...

Re: A letter from the White House

I got the same response this week. The only reason it's not in the trash bin yet is it's cool seeing "the white house" in the Inbox. It used to be "cool" The "cool" factor of such an item started waining in January of 1969. Some cool factor was restored in the '80s, bu...

Re: Rebel without a clue, and an alcohol problem!

Being sober for 27.5 years, I also understand the concept of going astray and needing guidance to get "reeled back in". Under this type of circumstance, I believe the desire of the offending individual to correct their actions, accept responsibility, make amends & live a better life gr...

Re: Rebel without a clue, and an alcohol problem!

Forgiveness is one of the hardest aspects of the Christian life. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. Your point is valid, and I ...

Re: Rebel without a clue, and an alcohol problem!

I am damn sick & tired of people feeling sorry for those that are a victim of their own misdeeds. I don't feel bad for him. Got any recent pictures of yourself you feel like sharing? I'd love to see what a paragon of virtue looks like. Look in the mirror? You're the one who is always correcting...

Re: Rebel without a clue, and an alcohol problem!

He was a victim of himself, and his own poor choices. Not one other person was in the van, therefore nobody was holding a gun to his head forcing him to steal the van. Nor was anybody forcing him to drink, speed, run from the police, etc. I am damn sick & tired of people feeling sorry for those t...
