Free NRA membership for a year

Free membership, comes with your choice of magazine as well. http://www.nrahq.org/nrabonus/ I know many people have complained about the amount of solicitation the NRA does and the amount of junk mail you receive from them however that is an incredibly easy problem to fix. Simply email them at membe...

Online primer for shooting clays?

Does anyone know of an online resource that has a basic how to for shooting clays? I can't get her out to the Oakdale newbie class as weekdays get difficult but would like to get my wife started shooting clays the 'correct' way instead of my way.

Re: Steel Shoot Results

I missed the shoot obviously. My wife insisted that I take her to the Ahlmans event where she proceeded to fall in love with shooting clays with a 20 ga O/U (she liked shooting clays informally before with her .410 pump but didn't care for the 12 ga). That led us on a day long expedition through var...

Rebuilding and Packing in New Orleans

Heard this during a portion of my commute yesterday, you have to go to about 4:35 in the recording to get to the 'gun' part but it's a good listen all the way through, wish I could grab the whole audio file easily for future use. Go here and click on the 'listen' link. http://www.npr.org/templates/s...

Re: Just a Reminder, Another Steel Shoot on 8/25

The steel shoot is usually pistol only (they are heavy enough as it is) but when the steel shoot is over the shooting is not. Bring what ya want to shoot and some to share if you're feeling generous 8-) Benny let me pop off the Brown Bess at one of the shoots which was a unique experience and I've b...

Re: Best option for weaponlight

I think it would be a bit difficult if you pulled our your handgun with the light on the rail, for the same affect. It's not too difficult, you just have to do a tactical barrel roll over to the other side of the table, draw down on the menu and scream "show me your entre's!" as y...
