Re: Defensive handgun training

You probably should state what level of training you need. Very little reason to get "nationally recognized trainer" level training if what you need is the fundamentals. Once the fundamentals are in place then more advanced training can take place far more efficiently. For the fundamentals...

I figured that is why she talked so weird.

He said "location" not "locution".... ;-)

And location isn't always MN. These days I'm in Virginia!

Re: Pregnant Florida woman uses AR-15 to fatally shoot intruder

Come on you guys... give the writer and editor a break! Writing about a violent encounter, involving a gun, can really rattle a person... Think about the adrenaline dump!

When I was in college, in Grand Forks, I met a tanker pilot from the base.... When he was transferred to ND from Florida... his friends all told him he would like ND.... There were good looking women behind every tree!

Come on! Every progressive knows that a trigger is what requires a trigger-warning before unleashing a high-capacity, full-semi-auto, tactical, microaggression...

OGC Picnic

When the rules changed, didn't .25 ACP become legal? I seem to remember a bit of mockery going around about that! Still true?

Re: Shipping a scope for warranty repairs.

Just a word of warning... I bought a Vortex scope that had problems and returned it under warranty. Since it was brand new, I included everything in the box that it came with. They repaired it, but sent it back, in a different box, without all the goodies! After a call, they were good enough to send...

If it was an AK...wouldn't that just increase its battleworn patina, and therefore its value? :D But we all know that getting an AR wet would decrease accuracy by 1/8 MOA... totally ruining it for any meaningful purpose!

Re: Police say school bus driver shot on I-35W after crash

Guessing the bullet grazing his head was the problem as opposed to noise. Are you implying that muzzle blast directed at your face followed by a bullet donking you in the head isn't analogy-equivalent to shooting without hearing protection!!! :o :angryvillagers: Shocked! Shocked I tell you! https&#...

Re: Police say school bus driver shot on I-35W after crash

I call BS on the "bus driver was left deaf in his left ear from the incident" though. No way that is going to happen from being multiple feet from a pistol going off (and being inside a vehicle to boot). I've shot plenty of guns without ear protection in my misguided youth and I still hav...
