Re: Poll: Curbing gun violence is more import than gun rights

Easy enough to set someone's postings to not be shown. Problem solved.

Re: Siamese Mauser conversion to 45-70

Nice! Those are supposed to be some of the stronger Mauser actions and should handle a lot of chamber pressure. Ruger #1 .45-70 loads are up there, this should handle it just fine.

Re: Bad RCBS die? Or Go/No-Go Gauge? Or....?

That's how you learn. By asking questions. Too often question askers are ridiculed. But by asking your question I learned something, too. Thanks.

Training By Nationally Known Instructors In The Midwest

Are there any training courses by nationally-known firearms trainers offered in the (upper) midwest? Guys like Massad Ayoob, Tom Givens, John Farnam, or Spencer Keepers. Even a days drive would be better than the desert Southwest or the East Coast.

Re: Sig P320 lawsuits

Grayskies wrote:The gun doesn't have a trigger safely like a Glock, does it have some other kind of safety to prevent the firing pin from striking the primer when gun is subjected to a jarring blow?

The P320 has both a striker safety and a disconnect safety.

Re: Sig P320 lawsuits

So let me get this straight.... She puts her gun with a "worn down rounded sear" according to her Facebook posting, in a discredited holster (Blackhawk Serpa) - that our own Steel Shoots won't allow on the range, in a huge handbag full of stuff that could get in the holster/trigger guard -...

Re: Biden announces zero tolerance for FFL violations

Dems push to defund police. Dems make excuses for rioting and looting. Dems excuse every type of criminal. Dems work to make more crimes acceptable and without punishment. Crime soars. "It's the guns!! Crack down on the guns!" So the Dems federalize policing down to the local level. (Beca...

Re: NYC Mayoral candidate pro 2A

I hope he has a chance, but in New York the Democrats have such overwhelming support that I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he gains any traction. As a counterpoint, the Brooklyn Borough President Erik Adams (Democrat) is voicing some similar thoughts on self protection as he prepares a run for mayor...

Nearly Half US Counties 2A Sanctuaries

Something I hadn't seen in the media is that almost half of US counties have Second Amendment sanctuary laws on the books. :o I'm shocked that the MSM hasn't been all over this. :P Link to the article: https://sanctuarycounties.com/2021/05/06/nearly-1500-counties-are-now-second-amendment-san...

Re: holster retention systems

Paddle holsters with retention systems are an oxymoron. Paddle holsters can be ripped from the carrier's belt quickly and easily. That's the kind of retention that should be considered first.
