Re: Hennepin County ptc appt only 10 week wait

I just received a text from one of my ptc students. Hennepin County is requiring an appointment to drop off a ptc application. The first available appointment is 12/18/2020. Re: GOCRA?

Hi - Simplified version: MN Gun Owners PAC: Direct and independent expenditures in support of pro-gun rights candidates for MN House, Senate, and State Constitutional Offices (Governor, etc). We've been highly successful in building a Pro-2A majority in the MN House & Senate. Endorsement of can...

Re: GOCRA?

Update three years later - GOCRA leaders are all retired at this point and while still active individually and the organization still technically exists, Professor Olson would tell everyone to support the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus and our political fund, the Minnesota Gun Owners Political Action C...

Re: Things that make you go GRRR...

I had the misfortune to listen in on a political solicitation call from the DFL endorsed candidate for the state House of Representatives (district 58A) yesterday. I sat politely by, ignoring her drivel, until she brought up "Gun Safety". When she mentioned that the majority of gun sales ...

Re: Amazon charities

yukonjasper wrote:My question is, how do you know your funds actually make it to your selected charity? Is there a way to trace or audit the donation?

You'd have to ask Amazon. We get paid quarterly by them without fail.

This is the email I received. It specifically says Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund. Linksep's post refers to "Gun Owners Foundation". Numbers are significantly different. "This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your charity, Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund, rec...

I don't know if the for is the same, but 624.7132 dates from 1977 - so probably something similar...

Re: Permit to transfer?

As it was explained to me, that portion is meant for transfers between FFLs or from private party to an FFL for purchases. I can't state that unreservedly but that is what came down to us from those most high when such forms began to show up at the store in place of the more usual permit to purchas...

This group was created by the anti-gun Giffords organization - they are gun owners who are in support of whatever gun control measures Giffords put in front of them. They had a big...
