Re: Binary trigger ban

last year they raised these state penalty from.5 years to 20 years - but yeah, you get the point.

Re: Binary trigger ban

What, exactly, is their definition of "binary trigger." The definition is in the link to the bill above - but the specific language used is: (3) a device that allows a firearm to shoot one shot on the pull of the trigger and a second shot on the release of the trigger without requiring a ...

Re: Binary trigger ban

The binary trigger ban was crammed into an omnibus bill and passed last night. I remember the first time Shall issue was passed. It was thrown out because it wasn't 'germane' to the rest of the bill. What are the odds of getting this thrown out in a similar fashion? Or for the general cluster f* of...

Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

Bryan & Team: Let me be among the many who are singing your praises for the outstanding work you did during the 2024 Legislative Session. Clearly, your small team influenced a remarkable number of Legislators, even some who most thought would be unresponsive. Your efforts and success with so ma...

I've seen some very uninformed criticism of MNGOC by the Dorr brothers.

Do they have no idea how politics works?

They don't care. They profit off of claiming betrayals.

Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

After Bruen and multiple lower court rulings, and with a majority of states signaling their respect for the Second Amendment by passing constitutional carry, one would think we'd be moving towards greater firearms freedom. But everywhere legislatures seem determined to double down on gun control. P...

Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

So how do things look in the MN Senate? We have posted some updates on this recently on FB, Twitter, YouTube - right now we don't think they have the votes - but that can change. b [sarcasm] How much in donations from the gun industry have you contributed to the Senate? [/sarcasm] Seriously, that's...

Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

Thank you bstrawse. It's disgusting how our legislature is down to an 'us verses them' mentality. It's 'WE WIN' or 'WE LOSE' on every issue for some of our legislators. Case in point. Straw purchases. The Dems voted down stricter penalties last session then submitted their very own (almost word for...

Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

We worked hard with the MN House Caucus to help prepare for debate - and had a war room at the Capitol w/ Rob and our comms team while I was back at the office supporting -- Rob did a really nice job w/ the House to make this week happen. They put up a great fight and really slowed things down. We p...

Maybe they've heard of "boating accidents" and are trying to criminalize efforts to hide guns from future confiscation.
