Re: Another CCW question

(PS: Of course word police are needed. We do not want to be drawn into symbolic, but wrong use of terminology.)

Where's the word police on this one?

Re: handgun law puts undue burden on churches

Lillehaug said it’s a burden because it requires churches to post exquisitely detailed signs at every entrance and also ask anyone carrying a gun to leave - as opposed to just being able to ask those with guns to leave. A lawyer who can't read? Or is he pulling a bushism (blantant, in your face lyi...

Re: Teacher Arrested For Bringing Gun To School

So, with a tip of a student, the police got a search warrant for the car? Am I missing something...

Based on what little information given, I think there is a possibility of a lawsuit.

Re: New Rental Policy at Bill's Since the Shooting....

So, it's been confirmed that the shooter tried to off himself? Bill's could (staffing permitting) offer a mentor for loners who come in and want to rent. Maybe $5 extra bucks and the employee stands there helping you shoot down range. Of course, you run the risk of scarring an employee for life if a...

Re: Sheepdog pins

If anyone with artistic ability (Pat? Pakrat?) wanted to draw a sheepdog cartoon, I'd look into getting some custom pins made (I'd need a minimum order...) You didn't like the image you had? I did a google search for "order custom pins" and it came up with a bunch of internet pin manufact...

Did you dig into why or what bill or anything? Seems pretty random.

I don't have time today to look.

Re: Nevada to open up reciprocity

Oops, modify my first sentence to say that the law does not apply to visitors.

The 24 hour rule is for transfers. Being a visitor there is no transferring.

"Registration of firearms capable of being concealed" applies to UNincorporated areas.

Re: Nevada to open up reciprocity

The registration is not a law. I've read the city ordinance and the county ordinance and in plain text it does NOT apply to anyone who is not trying to take up residence. I don't remember the full text now, but it spoke of transfers. If you move into that area, you are transferring the gun. If you s...
