Re: Where can I get 10mm?

Depending on the gun, I'd suggest looking into a 40S&W conversion barrel since cheap ammo for a 10 is going to be the same power as a 40S&W.

I've got a Lone Wolf 40S&W barrel for my Glock 29, they also sell 357sig & 9x25 barrels

Re: Nigerian trying to blow up jet

My original response when I heard this on the Radio, was that every one in his family should be dead by noon tomorrow. but then, his dad reported him as a terror nut job sometime last year. SO somebody in TSA messed up by not banning him. When we find out who paid for his ticket and who paid for hi...

Re: Doctors asking about guns?

I understand that the urge to just lie and say no to the doctor. We're in a hurry, it's not what we're there for, we've heard it all before and we're sick of it. But I urge everyone to stand proud. Hiding in the closet does nothing to further our cause. You alone arguing with your doctor may not cha...

Re: Who was your Instructor

I hate jackass responses like "who's your instructor," or "that should have been covered in your training." They are typical responses over there. edit->and unfortunately sometimes here as well. Even if you receive the best training in the world, I think it's pretty well docum...

Re: Only allowed one firearm?

Well he does own the cabin we usually stay at. No word on him finding that rule yet. In the group I'm going with, we're all pretty good live and let live types. I'm sure there won't be any problems. I'll assure him that I'll take all responsibilities for my actions myself. And knowing him well, I th...

Only allowed one firearm?

So I've been grouse hunting for a few years, but this year one person in our group is concerned with me carrying a pistol while we go out. I do have my permit to carry. I've covered most of the issues with him, but now he says that there is a rule that you are only allowed to carry one firearm while...

Re: Obama protester totes rifle

Seeing these folks carrying at Obama events and not getting their rights assaulted gives me a glimmer of hope in these dark times.

Re: What do you tell people?

I've never been afraid to tell. If others have a problem with it, well that's their problem and it's not going to stop me. I'm also not afraid of open carrying, and well, it's hard to hide that one. My anti-gun mother was one of the first I told, and I asked her if she cared if I carried in her hous...

Re: Libertarian Purity Test

I was 105

Eaxctly. This is a very poor test in that reguard. There is a difference between an anarchist and a libertarian. This test should be called an anarchist purity score, not a libertarian purity score.

The key word is the "or." Also there is the range officer's discretion. If they know you, I bet you won't have any problems renting.

Re: General Range Observations

For me it's always that I can shoot better with someone else's gun. And the more I practice with mine, the worse i get.
