Re: Cheap a$$ digital scale

Well I bought the Dillon 13480 beam scale, paid about $55 for it and am very happy with it. Jon at Gunstop said its the best scale you can buy for the money. took back the lee scale to Cabella's . I'm in the process of unloading all 100 rounds of ammo that I loaded. (taking a break) I measured with ...

Re: Cheap a$$ digital scale

I also think I'm gonna take back the Lee scale and get the Dillon. http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/content/p/9/pid/25215/catid/7/Dillon__039_s___039_Eliminator__039__Scale The Lee increment windows and the paint lines are ve...

Re: Dillon 550 primer getting cocked

First chore...get a source of compressed air. Makes cleaning simple. Primer anvils seperate from the cups many times getting in places to cause hiccups. Make sure your #13899 Spent Primer Catcher Chute (aka the flapper thingy) is working smoothly, hint ditch the provided pin and find baby safety pi...

Re: Cheap a$$ digital scale

Ok so I went and bought my lee safety scale, which I used before and was very comfortable with, you could add a couple of powder flakes and the pointer would move. that said, before this I loaded 124g gold dot HP at 4.6 with the cheap ass digital scale, this is for self defense ammo, I know the answ...

Re: Dillon 550 primer getting cocked

Thanx everyone for you suggestions, I did find some debris in the plunger area, but also have the Bucking with the primer bar, I studied it for awhile and it seems the spring that rides against the wheels or pulleys don't always track correctly, when moving the press arm back to seat the primer the ...
