Re: Where to buy new guns at the best price?

The state requires that you fill out a UT-1 Individual Use Tax form, and send a check for tax due, when you make a purchase from out of state. Is it likely to be a problem if you forget to do this after buying a couple of DVDs on eBay? Not likely. Plasma screen TVs, guns, diamond rings, crates of wi...

Re: New Sig P250

Bill's is going to have some of the first P250s in the country. I have six (and only six) that should be arriving by the 20th. I've been told that the next shipment won't be for a couple of months at least. (yes they know how to stir up demand at Sig) They will be all 9mm in black and two-tone. The ...

Re: Slug Gun or Handgun for Deer

For a lot less than the price of a Browning or Beretta barrel, you could get a single shot H&R Topper slug gun with a scope. I think I might even have a used one for under 125 bucks. Nothing pretty but it'll get the job done. http://www.hr1871.com/Firearms/Shotguns/ultraSlug.aspx http://www&...

Re: Fergus Falls, MN, gun show prices

In my experience, gun show prices are normally padded because they expect some haggling.

Re: suggestions for de-cosmoline-ing

I heard about a guy* who took his cosmo'd parts to one of those self-serve car washes and cleaned them with the soapy high-pressure hot water over one of the grates.

Re: Official name of Bill's Gun Shop and Range

OOo oo oo Mr. Kotta ...

I knew the answer. The name used is the name listed on our FFL, which was the business name used by the former owner. An FFL is always tied to a business name and address, and it can never be altered, renamed or changed if we want to sell guns at this location.
