Re: Carry gun suggestions or tips?

I also have smaller hands and carry a full-size Glock. This extended slide release helps a lot. Be warned it may screw with your holster fit if you use a polymer rig.

Re: The Supreme Court doesn't strike down straw purchasing

I have a better, less complicated solution.

1. Figure out what your friend or relative wants you to pick up at the store.

2. Decide later to sell it to him. Complete a bill of sale.

3. Don't talk or write about Step 1.

Re: DPMS is moving

Good for them. Sad that the DFL considers this a win for MN.

Re: Hillary: U.S. needs to 'rein in' proliferation of guns

It's clear to us that Hillary knows better; however, the people who swallow this also actually believe that widespread access to firearms is a novel thing, like a trend that emerged during their lifetimes which is causing new problems, rather than being the status quo for two and a half centuries. T...

Re: Hillary: U.S. needs to 'rein in' proliferation of guns

This demonstrates the low esteem in which people like her hold voters. They're sure voters will actually buy this crap. Unfortunately, she's right. There are people in my classes working on their PhDs—so smart, right?— who eat this stuff up. Disgusting

Re: 1911 apostasy

To be fair, it's more like trading for two hookers, plus boob jobs for each, but your point is well taken.

1911 apostasy

I used to be a 1911 purist until last year when I bought one of my buddy's old beaten up 3rd gen G22s. I've since fallen in love with these ugly things and bought another (and soon another). I'm now considering selling a 1911 in order to buy more Glocks and parts. The Sietch of last year would have ...

Woo hoo!

Could this be of those things where Shortshanks will suddenly reschedule it only a few minutes before, thereby screwing us out of attendance?

Re: Name this Glock part.

It looks like it is still there. Not all of it, at least the black cover is gone. Yes, the pin part is still in the gun, but a small circle of black plastic which was there before the range trip is now gone. A similar black plastic circle is still on the pin below (#28, the trigger housing pin, acc...

Name this Glock part.

What is this and what does it do? Does it matter much that it's missing? Came back from the range and noticed this.

Re: Capitol Hearings Thursday 3/20

I'm taking off work and class and will be there. That's one advantage the other side has, I believe; people of their political persuasion are many times more likely to be available on a weekday, whereas our people are usually working/studying our butts off.

Re: Legalized Marijuana and Firearms.

Why is this even on a gun forum? Go over to MNPottalk please. Maybe you didn't see the firearms part in the OP. Regardless, If you don't like it don't read it. Heh. The problem with the War on Drugs, like the War on Terror, is "wars" are supposed to have clear goals and victory con...

Re: Today's Ass Hats

The next president is going to have to do some remedial 'smack down' to repair the damage this pantywaist is doing. Plus the Korean Boy-Dictator is going to want to have some fun. And the Chinese are working on their 100 year plan... Meanwhile Barry will be in florida this weekend and is scheduled ...
