Re: First time carrying in public- the winning holster is....

Yes, I can see why this would not be a good choice for the range. I would never consider it for such use, but just wanted to know why you're not a fan. And yes, it definitely wouldn't be good for wearing underneath layers of coats in the winter. (Being yesterday was a warm 30 degrees, ha ha, I just ...

Re: First time carrying in public- the winning holster is....

I should mention I really like my iwb holster from the same company. Its called the Ava. The leather comes pliable enough that it molded to my hip right away and its sueded (purple!) on the back so its super soft on the skin.

Re: First time carrying in public- the winning holster is....

I'm curious about what it is that you wouldn't allow the holster? I don't think it will be my main go to. But its definitely going to give me some flexibility to still be able to carry when certain clothes or situations wouldn't allow otherwise. And its on my body verses a purse.

Re: First time carrying in public- the winning holster is....

Not a perfect holster, but definitely works when my other holsters aren't going to be the best option.

First time carrying in public- the winning holster is....

So I finally got my permit in the mail last week and carried for the very first time this afternoon on a shopping trip. I know some people say the first time you carry it is so nerve racking and you constantly check to make sure your gun isn't printing, etc. But I can honestly say I didn't feel unco...

Re: Snow day with my new PM9

I just ordered some Talon grips for it, the rubberized ones, so we'll see how I like them and if it helps. I don't mind how the gun shoots...I don't think the recoil itself is bad and I still think it's fun. I just have to do something about the texture on the back so I am able to shoot it enough to...

Re: Snow day with my new PM9

Thanks for the replies. I have looked into Agrip and the Hogue Handall Jr. Also considering Talon grips. We'll see what I end up with!

Snow day with my new PM9

Braved the cold, wind, and snow and put a few rounds through my new pm9 this afternoon. I love it! Definitely going to need some type of grips for it as it really started to hurt my hands although the cold didn't help. Any grip suggestions? Also managed to pinch the palm of my hand when I was puttin...

Re: "New" here for the second time

Thanks! :)

Yes I am familiar with falia and her videos. She had me convinced I wanted an M&P Shield but being I can't find one anywhere I just got my new PM9 today. Honestly I think I'm going to be happier with that decision too!

Re: Looper brand holsters for women. Yay or nay?

Thanks for the reply. I guess it's just one of those things that if something looks like it might work, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy it and see how it goes. I'm assuming either there aren't a lot of women who frequent this forum or no one has direct experience with this brand of...

Re: Looper brand holsters for women. Yay or nay?

I should mention I have already read and watched whatever reviews online I could find, but there doesn't seem to be much out there on a few of these styles.

Looper brand holsters for women. Yay or nay?

Wondering if any of you have experience with the flash bang, Ava, Marilyn, or Betty holsters by Looper brand holsters? I like the fact that they are designated for women but wonder if they are really anything that special? I am looking to purchase a holster for my pm9 for cc.

"New" here for the second time

Hi all, I joined MNguntalk over 5 years ago after getting my CC permit but haven't been back since. I barely ever carried in my 5 years but will be renewing in the next month and plan on carrying as much as possible (especially being I finally have a suitable carry gun on the way, a PM9094). I'm sur...
