.40 JHP is ~ 27 cents, 9mm JHP is ~ 24 cents
I mentioned price as its important to practice with what you carry.
If I need to pull out and shoot, I want the confidence of a 3" group at 20 feet.

People say the 45, 357, and 38spl have the best stop rate,
I like the 40 and 9mm with better control for multiple shots.
.40 180 gr JHP 400 FPE, 27c in bulk for downtown carry
9mm 115 gr JHP 330 FPE, 24c in bulk for back pocket / backup

I'm ok with teaching children about guns, even having hunting licenses at 12.
However, I think they should NOT have direct access until they are 15.

Some dealers will ask for a state-issued ID or military ID and proof of your address in addition to the out-of state permit.
Its always best to call ahead and get the name of the person you talked to.
