Re: .22 Revolver recommendations

Did no-one recommend a Ruger SP-101 (used)? New, you can't get to the $300 mark but a used one just might...

They're available in .22, .32, .38Spl, .357 Mag. and 9mm.

I think I stated that the company should be allowed to discriminate in its hiring for any reason or for no reason at all. Wear plaid pants to work? You're fired! Can't say it surprises me. I've heard anecdotally of a few companies that have done this, generally these policies are used to keep insurance costs down. It might be interesting to see if the FL Leg or Courts system does anything for what is obviously discrimination based on one's use of a lawful p...

I normally use my 870 Wingmaster with a 20" (smooth-bore) slug barrel. It works well with 7 1/2 shot. Very fast to swing; decent pattern and comfortable to carry all day.

Of course, my only other choice is a 30" full-choke barrel.

If you have a signed DNR Firearms Safety Certificate, that's good enough for Florida. Edit to add: I believe the fee is non-refundable. They claim to have the permit within 90 days.
