Re: S&W Airlite Revolvers, anyone know about them?

Yea, I know there not fun to shoot at the range. Too light and too much recoil! If it's for purely a CCO or BUG it would be a fine choice.

Re: Favorite 1911 - That you have actually OWNED

I own 3 Dan Wesson 1911's 2 Razorbacks in 10mm and a CBOB in .45 auto. Love them!

Re: Sig Sauer X5 - Competition or Level 1?

Good deal! You can always get yourself the Nils grips later for a couple hundred bucks. They're worth it though!

Re: Magnum Research 1911?

Has anyone noticed that the ad from the link provided in this thread says it's a .45 ACP. Nothing about a .50AE version. Anyone heard if they are making a .50AE version?

Re: Got a new Dan Wesson RZ 10

Wow! Thanks for the opinions, but I'm a bit shocked at all the anti-10mm comments! I like the 10 for the fact that you can shoot a lite load at the range and it's like a bit stronger than a .40 S%W, but when you want to have some real power it's just another box away! Id any of you have ever shot li...

Got a new Dan Wesson RZ 10

This is my first 1911 and I think I did pretty good. I'm usually pretty particular about my gun purchases and I decided whatever 1911 I got would be a 10mm. I've been hearing a lot about this round and it has lived up to it's reputation! I love this round! It may be the best auto round ever made! ht...

Re: SIG front sight question

I have a question. What sight number is on your rear? You should have both #8. If you put a #6 or 7 on it you will shoot even higher. I'd look in to the rear and maybe get a adjustable rear sight.

Re: New Taurus Slim Line Pistols

I shot one of the 9mm models about a week ago. One of the guys at Bill's bought one and we stayed after to shoot it and some others. I was rather impressed with it, more so than I was expecting to be.

Gander has ammo

I stopped into Gander in E.P. today and they have a lot of .45 ACP and .40. a bit of 9mm too. The problem is they're like double the price of Wally world!

Re: MN: Home invasion

Personally I do not believe that training and a gun would have helped in general because it seems that one of the common beliefs amongst many permit holders is; either I don't wear a gun at home or when I come home I put my gun into the bedside safe cause I got kids.......... Folks, this is a great...

Re: SIG front sight question

I recommend Ryan at Bill's in Robbinsdale. He's their Gunsmith and he's installed several sights for me on my Sigs. He's got a Sig sight pusher and it won't damage your slide. Do not do this yourself! You will regret it if you don't want marks on your slide and you'll spend hours trying to zero the ...

What has happened to .45 ACP?

Has anyone else had luck in finding 45 Auto at either Walmart or Fleet Farm? I've not seen any for almost 2 weeks at the E.P. or Shakopee Walmart.

Re: Looks like Wally World is getting bullets again!

I picked up 6 boxes of Federal Champion 9mm for $8.97 today at Shakopee Walmart. They had quite a bit in stock.
