They do on occasion (Wisconsin residents travel to our classes). We've had people from DE, AZ, OH, IL and other states travel in for our courses as well. Last night, a Florida resident took our class. So yes. They do travel to MN to take our classes and I am sure other instructor classes as well.

Spoke with Detective Musial of the Special Licensing, Firearms Division of the CT State Police this AM. According to Musial, they do approve "equivalent" courses based on content. Any Instructor who wants to have their course-ware officially approved must submit the complete course to them...

Note: Section G of the CT application does ask for proof of training in a firearm safety course.

Submitting a copy of our certificate along with a copy of your MN permit has always been enough for CT for the non-resident CT permits.
