Re: How many are actually buying suppressors?

I purchased a Griffin Armament Checkmate QD with an extra adapter. I used Silencer Shop and it is also sitting at Atomic Tactical waiting for the ATF to get done with whatever do. The Trust was the way for me.

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

I already sent an email letting him know we, in this household are very disappointed. Time to email the state rep and senator.

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

I just called again and spoke to a guy, he said the gov has not yet made a decision on hf 1467 but he will before the end of the day. An answer like that makes me nervous.

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

I have called multiple times last week and today, never spoke to a person. Every time it was to the voice mail. My local rep for the new district of 56A, Pam Myhra, stopped by my house and when questioned, she voted for it. I also asked her to support a removal of the silencer ban and she said she w...

Re: Suppressor

I would go with my S&W M&P 15-22. I have sent a few emails to my representatives and they both responded saying they would join the movement if it were brought up in a bill.

Re: Movement to repeal silencer ban

It's me again... After taking some time today to scan this 18 page discussion I noticed many people "getting perturbed" with Ranb over the fact that he was encouraging us Minnesotans so much to contact the antis to change there opinion. Now, I will agree with you that he may not understand...

Re: Movement to repeal silencer ban

After reading HF 1816 and 1984 it does not look like that will help me/us too much. Am I missing something here? I had the understanding that we were to get a bill pushed that would allow all of us to enjoy the benefits of using a suppressor/muffler/silencer. It had been a long time since I had visi...

Re: Ruger Single Six .22lr

After playing with it a bit more I was able to get the cylinder out of it and get it unloaded. I will have to follow the dismantle instructions and see if I can find any broken parts. With the cylinder out the hammer can be brought to the full cocked position just fine. At this point I will assume i...

Ruger Single Six .22lr

This weekend I was able to shoot my brother's father-in-laws Ruger Single Six .22lr. I am unsure about the year it was made but the manual says revised in 1959. I was getting a lot of failure to fires and figured it was a light hammer problem seeing that the same box of ammo was shooting fine in the...

bin laden is DEAD! What caliber?

The subject line says it all. What do you think it is?

I will go with 9mm because I heard it was a "firefight." I will take that as meaning it was not a sniper.

Re: Top Shot Deux!

[quote=I bet Gunny is pretty pissed about the last stage, it just shows that the pressure is the biggest factor in the game.[/quote] I have a feeling that Gunny missed those last two plates on purpose. At least that is what I am going to believe. After seeing George give it up because Chris could us...

Re: Top Shot Deux!

Ashley gone (and a bigger d-bag than I initially thought he was). When will Jamie get respect? Exactly what I was thinking. Seeing that no one liked Jamie I figured he was just an annoying guy. But when Chris Reed complained about Ashley calling out Jamie for no reason my feelings about Ashley chan...

Re: Illinois

We just stayed at the Hyatt Place in Shaumberg for a wedding on the 4th of July weekend. Very business district-like. Nice town, and the surrounding burbs are nice also. But like everyone else said, IL is a very anti-firearms state. The job would have to be very very enticing for me to even consider...
