Mossberg youth bantam and mini bantam shotguns.

I would like to buy one of those 2 models for my son. He is 9 1/2 years old. He was able to try an older model 20 gauge for size, but not able to shoot it. The 20 gauge models are hard to find right now, but the .410 bore is available. I think the 20 is too much for him, but the .410 is a hit it or ...

Re: Tristar Viper G2 in .410 bore.

Update on the Tristar .410 bore. So far have put put over 100 rounds through it with no more problems. I even picked up some deer slugs and gave them a go. The 3 inch actually shot pretty good at 25 yards. The 2.5's were okay. But I do not intend to use it for deer hunting. Overall I like the gun. T...

Re: Tristar Viper G2 in .410 bore.

Well, day 2 went smoother for breaking in the Tristar .410 bore. I completely tore down the gun and cleaned everything and put it back together. I shot a box of 3 inch ammo from Winchester and one from Federal without any problems. Every one of them fed and ejected. So I was much happier. The gun wo...

Tristar Viper G2 in .410 bore.

I bought the Tristar because it has choke tubes. Picked it up Monday, and shot it today. I had a lot fails to eject. I locked the action up twice. The spent round was half way back but not clear of the chamber, and the one in the magazine got lodged under the bolt and locked it up tight. I had some ...

Re: Reloading the 300 Blackout.

I have a Radical Firearms 16 inch HBAR upper. I was able to find some Nosler Ballistic Tip in 125 grain, and some Hornady SST in .125 grain. I have some Hornady 110 grain V Max on the way. I decided to try the H110. My old neighbor suggested trying W296. I have the RCBS small base 2 die set, and the...

Reloading the 300 Blackout.

I want to start reloading for the my 300 Blackout. I am interested in reloading super sonic so I am considering the 110 grain and the 125 grain from either Nosler or Hornady. I read as much as I could from the internet on preferences for what powder to try. I am thinking about H110. Before I go on, ...

A co-worker has a 45 Win Mag pistol. He looking for extra magazines for it. It takes two different types of magazines, one is for the 45 Win Mag, and one is for your standard 45. Buying parts to build an AR.

I just bought an AR about a month ago. My friend did the same. We don't even have 200 rounds through them yet. He has decided to build one. Three long questions: Where does everybody buy their components from? Is it mostly from the internet, or are there a bunch of local places? #2 Where is the cost...

Price for a Hornady ProJector press?

A co-worker has a Hornady Projector progressive press. It is probably 15 years old. It is the press, primer feeder, powder charger, etc... everything but a set of dies. I am not familiar with older style Hornady. It is not latest model, but that does not matter to me. Anybody have one? Do you rememb...

Re: Looking to buy 1st AR15.

I took the gun out this past Friday. After the break in of shoot, clean, shoot, clean etc. I started to shoot some 3 and 5 shot groups at 50 and 100 yards. The gun ran fine. It held most groups under an inch pretty easily. I put a 2x7x32 scope on it. It was what I had laying around. I had a more dif...

Re: Looking to buy 1st AR15.

Bought one. I got a Colt Competition. It is a dumbed down version that Colt makes for Cabela's. They can lower the price that way. They have a little less furniture, and no middle man. Cabelas has a decent write up about it on their web site. I contacted Colt and they sent me a bunch of info on it a...

Looking to buy 1st AR15.

I know I will get more info then I can handle, but I am looking to get into the AR game and I had a few questions. First question is does anybody own a rifle from Windham Weaponry, and why did you choose it? Next question is about the Ruger AR 556. Any reviews of it? Last question, is there a gun st...

Re: High end air rifles.

I have found Straight Shooters out of St. Cloud, MN to be a good source for my air rifle needs. I have bought 3 from them since I first asked my fellow members where can I find someone who sells high quality air rifles. They only do online sales, no walk ins. It makes it tough if you don't have a go...
