I still have relatives there in germantown, you are absolutely right I move from there when I was real young, and people ...

Re: Question about selling a handgun

I try and do all these checks and balances as well...but it's important to understand, as long as you're not a dealer you don't need any documentation. It will just make your life easier should that firearm land in the wrong hands or used for the wrong purpose.

Colts are wonderful guns. If you're really looking for a very nice Colt, drop by Boone's Fine Guns in Isle, on the south east shore of Mille Lacs. They specialize in collectible Colts and Hi Powers.

Thanks Pat..I may just take a look.

Re: Almost traded..

I bought and and then sold about 18 months ago a LNIB P239 9mm DAK for $385.00 If he's giving you $500 in trade, you're doing great. I don't know what the fair price would be for the 1911 you're looking at, but even if he's high, what he's giving you for your trade is making up for it. Prices have ...

Almost traded..

my SIG this morning at the Forest Lake Gun Show. I went there looking for another SIG, a 220. Didn't see much and then spotted a Colt Mk IV Series 80 Gold Cup Nat'l Match. I've always had an itch for a 1911 from my service days and earned an expert medal with one ( I've heard the military just gives...

At 2-$300 range, Leupold seems to have the best eye relief ..in a variable that is. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templ ... stid=23451
