Re: Do you have one or more of the following.......

I used to have a Glock, but no longer. Traded with another member here for a Stoeger 8000. Also have a Taurus P92.Gonna be selling the Stoeger soon to a good friend who fell in love with it when we went to BPR.

Re: Profiling stickers on your Car

Not sure what crystal ball that cop was using, but if he ran her by her name and DOB or DL he did not get back the information about the CCW permit. As it has been alluded to here, that information is stored separately. Of course it is easily accessible with another search, but it is an independent ...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

With all due respect to Joel and his family, I am a little bit bummed that there won't be closure to the City Hall CCW issue. I do not know if it was intentional on his part to be the "test case" but it at least seemed to me that Joel was a staunch and outspoken supporter of our 2A rights....

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

Sorry, it looked like a "look at me" moment. Still does from where I am sitting. I never said you did anything illegal. I just find it unprofessional and unneeded. Fair enough. Back to the comment re: opinions . . . . . If I wanted it to become a "look at me" moment, I'd have pr...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

I am, however, taking issue with his professional conduct. It is my opinion that one in such a position should refrain from making the types of comments that he did. They serve no purpose. He himself admitted that in a post. I never agreed that they served no purpose. I said I see your point in con...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

If I heard the EMS dispatch on my scanner, should I keep quiet about that? I didn't, but just asking. It would be completely up to you. I have different criteria as a civil servant. The content of a call is confidential, and anything said about it will be disseminated to the public via the public i...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

All I said was I took the call. That information can be gleaned by a simple call to the MECC as to the formal process to gather the information. I said nothing more, aside from expressing my condolences. The call content certainly is confidential and I will not disclose that. My information as a pu...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

You really shouldn't be posting on a public forum that you took the 911 call. Information regarding people's EMS runs/hospital stay learned at work needs to stay there. Then again, you already know that. Police blotters are full of public information. One might be surprised... As for 9-1-1, at leas...

Re: Minneapolis Gun Rights Advocate Joel Rosenberg Dies

I took the 9-1-1 call when this happened, and thought that it might have been him. I just found out now that it was (I don't frequent watching or reading the news because I usually know about the news WELL before the newsies do). Sorry to hear of this, as we lost a staunch ally in the whole 2A issue...

Re: Holster cant?

You are my hero, Srigs. Thanks!

Front being 12, I carry at about a 3:30 to 4 or so. It is more comfortable with the, shall we say, extra insulation.

The last holster you made for me you did at FBI cant, so I think when I order via your website I'll do that again.

Holster cant?

I will (hopefully) soon be ordering a holster from our resident holster fabricator, but I do not know how to determine what the correct/proper cant would be. How do you measure or determine the degree of the cant? I can take my gun and hold it to my side and determine how it fits comfortably (mainly...

Re: A friends daughter got gun pulled

Glad to hear it was reported and they caught the guy. For all - if there is any question if you should report it or not, then do so. As a 9-1-1 operator, we can usually tell you if we are able to make a report or not. If we don't know we send a cop anyway to decide. Don't ever hesitate to call 9-1-1...
