Re: Chassis vs my hack bedding job

I screwed a 2x4 to the table top, and butted my lead sled up to it... My Savage 223 is impressively accurate, and so is my 45-70. At this point, if the bullet doesn't go where it's suppose to, chances are it's my fault.

Re: Colt Huntsman vs. Ruger Mark III

Nice Huntsmans/Woodsmans are starting to demand some real high prices lately... But they too are a difficult piece to do a full strip and clean!

Re: A funny feeling...

I agree with the Bills Robinsdale comments... My father and I were shooting there awhile back when the 4 young dipsticks were busy trying out someone's new AR, busy taking camera phone pictures and video's (obvious signs of stupid youth) and as the fluorescent light came raining down on the range fr...

Re: Bodyguard 380 Trigger

I bought a full spring kit for the cheapy S&W sigma for my father... The .40 had quite a bit of barrel flip and he wasn't very consistent to get back on target... Galloway hooked me up with some new trigger springs, and a new recoil spring, and stainless guide rod... Viola, it's like a new gun.....

Re: squirrel hunting

Anyone got a few tips for a newbie tree rat hunter? Got an hour out, onto a 3000+ acre wma... Sat nice and still, quiet, not much going on in the woods other then turkey's and deer moving... Saw a couple mutters, but not near as many as the turkeys! Am I too late into the season, or is weather holdi...

I have the first case... Little over 2 years now, still going strong... Nice case for the money, IMO.

He does? I called and asked him about shortening an old Rem 870 shotgun barrel for me, and he had to be talked into "squaring" up the cut... I will pass
