x39 AR's suffer from weak bolt geometry once the face has been relieved enough to fit the larger case head. This is a prime example of something which wasn't fully thought through.

Real ACOG's use the fiber optic filament to self illuminate, and then have a tritium backup for dark use. No batteries needed. That there's no illuminated reticle on the fake is why it was originally so funny to me.
