Re: Hollow-Point Question

You guys are the best. I will put some defense rounds through it and see how it feels... I finally got my carry permit in the mail, so now is the time to start squaring myself away.

I love that the thread started with me griping about a 20$ box of ammo and ended with me buying a new revolver. La Bandita Blanquita would be non-excited by this turn of events.

Re: Hollow-Point Question

Sage advice all, thank you. I will be sure to go through at least a box, and to make sure that I test brands out before I depend on them.

I'm all for spending the $ on peace of mind and the protection when it actually makes a difference, I only wanted to make sure it wasn't just 'salesman' talk.

Hollow-Point Question

So I picked up some defense rounds at Joe's the other day, and the salesman said that it would be wise to put a box of these hollowpoints through my Glock 26 to make sure that they work properly. Now, I know almost nothing about hollow points and whether they usually feed or perform differently whil...

Re: new TV show LAWMAN with Steven Seagal

Seems like he knows what he's talking about. His advice to the qualifying shooter is extremely vague, but good for TV, I suppose.

Better Late Than Never...

Hello all, Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I am somewhat new to the gunning world, so I am looking for good advice as I wait for my carry permit to come in the mail from the friendly County Sheriff.
