Re: Pistol Carbines

I have a Beretta CX4 in .40 cal. It accepts my Beretta and Stoeger Cougar .40 cal pistol magazines. I have six 20 round mags and about a dozen 10 or 11 round mounds. I put a TRS-25 red dot on it. My firearm budget is very limited so it fits the bill for me. Many people don’t like them (PCC’s) becaus...

Re: Return of Ranb

The odds are Trump will not win Minnesota. So what good is your campaign against him here in MN? Shouldn't you, as a minimum and maybe you are, being on gun boards in the swing states and the states he will probably win. They are the people you need to convince.

Re: Biden drops out, endorses Harris.

A Republican who is pro-gun, tough on crime, pro-military, secures the border, does not control how people live, etc. Like something closer to Ike instead of Trump or W. Bush. From what I have read, your ideal candidate sounds a lot like J.D. Vance. If we are playing the long game, a win by Trump i...

Re: On-line PTC classes

While I wouldn't recommend the online class to anyone new to carry, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to someone who's been carrying for some time. I've had a permit to carry since the law changed back in 2003 and have done my last 2 renewals online with TC Carry. Thanks. Do you remember what was...

On-line PTC classes

This will be my third renewal coming up. Has anyone done the on-line course MN Firearms is offering. Taking the class on-line and then just showing up at their place of business for the shooting qualification sure seems attractive. My schedule is very hectic for the next 2 1/2 months as we are movin...

Re: Lewiston Maine mass shooting

Hmmm… this case is looking like the poster child for red flag laws. I don’t think Maine has one though. You are correct, Maine doesn't have a red flag law - Maine's law requires that law enforcement get a medical practitioner to evaluate the person and find them to be a threat before they can...

Bruen vs Post Office

I don’t have the money but wouldn’t Bruen rule against the prohibition of carrying in the Post Office?

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/08/08/us/supreme-court-biden-ghost-guns.html Nice work, SCOTUS. A welcome surprise. The court’s brief order gave no reasons, which is typical when the justices act on emergency applications. T he order was provisional, leaving the regulation in place while a challenge m...
