Re: Streichers - night sight purchase/installation

I bought a set of Trijicons from them for my G17. Handed them the slide, paid, and walked out the door with the sights properly installed about 5 minutes later.

Re: XD questions

My first carry gun was the XD45 Bi-Tone. It had several issues, and I ended up getting rid of it. In the years since, I've talked to lots of XD owners who are very pleased with their XDs, so apparently my experience with mine was pretty unique. My friend and I were at the range one day; I was shooti...

Re: Some SIG parts are not for us peons...

I decided to convert one of my SIGs to SRT. That's "short reset trigger", if you're not up on your TLAs. To that end I ordered the appropriate parts from OMB. They canceled my order two days later with the following note: All SRT Sig parts can only be purchased by active law enforcement p...

Re: Glock

Glad to see such a low opinion of the Plastic Fantastic amongst the local gun guys...leaves more of them for ME. Sure, they're ugly as sin, and pretty ubiquitous, but my trusty Gs 17 and 26 are 100% reliable, more accurate than I can shoot, and just don't rust. I don't subscribe to the whole "p...

Re: New Minimal Snap holster from SGH

I should probably get some pics up of my SGH belt, mag carrier, and Slide holster that I just received last week. Erik does some beautiful work, doesn't he?

Re: Glock 21 - slide stop is not working

I wouldn't touch that mag; just drop it into a padded envelope and send it back to Glock. They will repair it free of charge. Back when I was shooting IDPA with my G21, I had a 'neutered' 10 round mag that would cause a stoppage on the first round when loaded to capacity. Glock offered to repair it ...

Re: Looking for home defense stories quick

Help me cite some stories for this guy on the board I admin if you could please? Anyone know of anyone who actually defended themselves or their family safely with their bedside gun? Just wondering. Many thanks! Here are a few good ones from another forum I frequent: I woke to my dogs barking... --...
