See what I did there...

Snark away.

MN Valley Wildlife Refuge hunting

Now that hunting/fishing has been made available in Federal Refuges, what is the status of hunting coyotes? MN permits it 365/per with no license required. Do the feds follow suit, or have they got other restrictions. I attempted phone contact with their local office but apparently they're shelterin...

Re: Rep Hanson responds to my emails

Last I checked, the Postal Service is happy to go to their residence for the cost of a stamp. No need to physically visit those locations.

No doubt that will cause a measure of discomfort for some...I'm ok with that. :D

Re: Rep Hanson responds to my emails

Emails are far too easy to ignore. Now, handwritten/typed are something else again. And preferably to their HOME addresses. I'm sure there's a list of them, somewhere.

I remember something about "power of the pen"....

Re: NRA just called

It's not the only organization I support, but bottom line, they ARE the 800 lb gorilla. Having ponyed up for a life membership back when I was still gainfully employed, I can now spread what little I have left to some of the other outfits that are fighting the good fight. [JFPOFAO,GOA, 2nd Amend Fou...

Re: UPS Store "doesn't ship guns"

Haven't shipped a gun in years. Machine parts, on the other hand, go out on a semi-regular basis. No probs, to date. :D

Re: new to hunting coyotes. tips?

Well, I prefer to just stake out my sister's Lahsas-what-ever and let it do the work. That mutt makes enough racket to wake the dead. If there's a yote within ear-shot they'll hear it and usually, (note the disclaimer) come check it out. Now, the bad news is, this four legged dust bunny is still wit...

Re: Gun Owners of America Ratings

Personally, I'll take whatever the NRA says with a grain of salt.

And then I'll pay very close attention to what the JPFO has to say. After which, I'll make up my own mind, thank you.

Re: How many wear hearing protection while hunting?

Ordered a pair of Walker's Digital inside the ear. Thought the $600 was a bit pricey, but then again, hearing aids ( and thats what these are) don't come cheap. But these were; cheap, that is. First pair didn't work, right out of the box. Sent them back and waited. And waited. After repeated convers...
