Actually, I've been using Barnes solid copper in my .243 for a couple of years now on whitetails. Ya,,I've been working up some 120TTSX in my 7-08. Had a series close with a ladder test at 100, then got the bright idea to move out to 200, just as the barrel began to copper foul!! Darn thing sprayed...
