Heard an ad on Cities97 asking folks to call in support of this bill.

Bloomberg money in action?

This is gonna be a fight.

Executive order

Say the gov did put the squeeze on these two powder producers and stopped their private sale.

Wouldn't that just create a huge demand for powder? Somebody would come in to meet that demand.

Re: OGC Members: This is what you're going to get!!

Blue sky is an existential threat to a club like Oakdale. There are a fair number of houses within range of a rifle, where a shooter slips or whatever and launches a round over the berm. Most folks have a seriously low tolerance for rounds hitting their house and I don't blame them one bit. If a rou...

Re: Why gun control failed

Just got done reading the same article. The 'Inside Baseball' history of Congress in the 70's was of particular interest. The overall gist was that progressive liberals tore down the traditional power structure in Congress in the belief that doing so would result in a more accountable, productive Co...

Sig P290RS or Kimber Solo?

If you want a single stack Glock-like pistol check out the Walther PPS.

Comes with different sized mags for max concealment or comfort.

I had one, liked it and should have kept it.

Is the political fight on guns over? Or is it just beginning

I've been asking this same question since Thursday. I think the fight will just continue. It's been going on since the 60s. It's not likely to end anytime soon. Not even if we continue to get favorable Supreme Court rulings. I see it moving forward kind of like abortion has moved forward over the la...

Want to Thank Heidi Heitkamp from a Nodak Ex Pat

I am going to write to Heidi Heitkamp and thank her for sticking with reality and helping defeat the national gun control bill. I'm from Nodak originally, and our democrats, who typically get voted into the senate, are not dumb ****. It took courage for a freshman senator to stand up to the Chicago...

Second Amendment Foundation backs Manchin-Toomey Amendment

Sounds like there may be some significant oopses in the Amendment.

I'm back to opposing the thing unless they get fixed.

Re: Second Amendment Foundation backs Manchin-Toomey Amendment

If he truly believes that the Constitution extends to everyone regardless of race, creed, color or religion then WHY BRING UP RACE, CREED or RELIGION? It's a commission of the worst rhetorical sin of all: IT'S NOT EFFECTIVE. It makes the opposition think he's a racist jerk. Even if he's not. Even if...

Re: Second Amendment Foundation backs Manchin-Toomey Amendment

How do you know Alan Gottlieb is Jewish? What difference does it make? By calling him a useful jew , Vanderboegh is equating himself (and gun rights advocates) to the Jew's slaughtered by Nazi's with the help of traitorous Jew's who sold them out (Or traitorous gun-rights advocates in this case). V...

Re: Second Amendment Foundation backs Manchin-Toomey Amendment

Looks like the video link in the original story is broken. Sounds like Alan Gottlieb was actually involved in writing the thing.

Re: Second Amendment Foundation backs Manchin-Toomey Amendment

Mike Vanderboegh not too happy: Alan Gottlieb, "Useful Jew." In one fell swoop Gottlieb has provided political cover for all those waffling senators and congressmen who were seeking it desperately. The committed, truly evil collectivists like Feinstein and Schumer must be howling with lau...

The compromise - from Sen. Toomey's website

[quote="whiteox"]Here's the full text of the amendment. I don't like having to pay an FFL every time I sell a gun, but if this is the extent of what passes, I'm ok with it. http://www.manchin.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/files/serve?File_id=8134649f-6d23-4ef2-882f-6a455...
