Re: Passing guns down without obvious heirs

I think a will is a good idea, but it doesn't work unless you're dead. Folks often forget about incapacity planning. What happens to your guns if you have a stroke or get in a car accident? NRA would be a good option and they have a well developed planned giving site. https://nrahq.giftlegac...

FS - 5.45x39 7N6 4 cans / Also ten ASC 5.45 mags

Looking for $250 / can. There is another 90 rounds of ammo as well. 30 rounds of Silver Bear and 60 rounds of 7N6. I also have 10 ASC 5.45x39 magazines that have very little use. Looking for $10 each. Only put 1000 rounds through the gun. Would come down for a package deal that takes it all. edited ...

I'm not as good as Dave at embedding the videos, but here is the next installment.

Nuts and Bolts of suppressors- Q&A

$59 for a 199trust Should note this is 199trust.com document. You do the $59 payment etc and then do the link they give you which sends you to 199trust where you input the payment voucher number they gave you and fill out the info for the trust (which does allow additional trustees) and the will em...

Re: Registering an NFA weapon [inc Suppressors] via trust

I am Ben Rust and I have to thank Jshuberg for the recommendation. I truly appreciate it. I came here to see if there was anything to add to Jshuberg's information and happily, he got it right. A trust is almost certainly the best way to own NFA firearms. If you own an NFA firearm as an individual, ...

NFA Gun Trusts by a Minnesota Attorney from $99.00

Dayton just announced that he will review all the bills as he gets them. He hasn't been presented with the Public Safety Omnibus bill yet. We'll have to wait and see. We will know by midnight Friday. A gun trust is the fastest way to acquire a suppressor or other NFA firearm as there is no requireme...

Re: Suppressor, Second Amendment bills hearing scheduled!

If you are looking for a trust I can help you. I'm an attorney in Oakdale and I do NFA trusts. I've been on the board here for quite a while, though not very active lately. I can get something basic for you for $99 if you buy online. http://www.minnesotaguntrustlawyer.com Mods, I'll star...

Another CNN poll.

Note the insidious phrasing of the question as though there is some current prohibition which may be ending.

A more honest phrasing would have been should we prohibit kids from learning to shoot.

Selling Nationally? - GunBroker, Armslist, etc.

I always make it clear in the auction that shipping is extra. Shipping through UPS/FedEx is crazy expensive.

I shipped through Mike Coffey at Polar Bear Ordnance in Woodbury. He charged his transfer fee plus shipping. I think the total was about $30.

Private seller table worthwhile?

I've got six guns to sell. Thinking about getting a table at the crocodile show in Anoka for Sunday.

Anybody else have any experience with this?

Did you have success or just waste a day at a gun show?

Rothman called out by name on Protect MN Facebook

+1 to that. It's difficult to explain how far my political views have changed since I was a DFL delegate at the Senate District convention in 2008. Bought my first gun in 2009. Didn't change much politically as I believed the dems had learned their lesson after the 94 ban. Then folks revealed their ...

remignton R51

The Truth About Guns blog did a good review. It seems like an ok gun except that it's possible to put the slide release in wrong. The gun will function with the part installed improperly, until it doesn't. That took the pistol out of the running for a carry gun, but it would be an interesting range ...
