Re: AR-15 handguard question

Sounds like you have a carbine length handguard yes it is, its a Bushy C-15. I am still not sure exactly what measurement I am supposed to use to make sure I get a handgaurd that fits properly. I have seen 6.7" and 7", but depending on where I measure mine from it could be either of them....

Re: Funny Things Heard in the Gun Department

I was at Gander in Lakeville, last week. A customer wanted to buy a more open choke for his shotgun, because he wanted to scare Geese off of his farm land, they told him just to shoot them with #8 shot because it would not kill a goose!

Re: How does long-term storage affect smokless powder burn rate?

I had some 3031 this winter, that had reddish brown dust, I called the current Manufactor about it, and they told me to GET IT OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!! It has become unstable! So I spread 2 pounds out over my yard.

Back in the mid 50's, When I was a baby, my father bought one in 35Rem. (model 336RC) He told my mother it would be mine when I grew up. (I can't believe she bought that story), However when I turned 15 I shot my first deer with it, I shot my first Antelope in Wyoming with it and even have taken Red...
