Re: Virginia takes first step on gun ban

Watched the live feed yesterday. When this passed committee the place erupted in outrage. The VSP immediately raised their voices and ordered everyone out (except the press) within 30 seconds or they would be arrested. The live feed was cut for most of this, but there is some footage of what happene...

Re: Legal knives for EDC

You can legally own, but not carry, autos in MN. This includes OTF (out the front), switchblades, etc. Assisted knives are not considered to be autos.

Re: Moving a safe, ideas?

Just moved my 1100 pound Amsec. We first removed the door to reduce the weight. I laid down 2x4’s, then had some steel conduit cut to length and was able to roll the safe on them. Worked great and nobody got hurt.

Re: Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

Read on if you have time for a little story... Years ago, an act of kindness was bestowed upon me by a board member here that I've held onto dearly. You see, I wasn't always great at managing my money, I drank too much, and didn't really think about the future. I don't remember all the "hows&qu...

Re: Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

I think people were just trying to be generous by adding more to the pool. I think if it is OK with the high bidder, we can probably whittle this down into separate items And focus on the receiver set and other AR related items for this auction.

Yes Sunday the first. My apologies for the error, it's been a chaotic couple of weeks at home.

Re: Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

So - two questions: 1) Is one person going to be collecting all this stuff for a single delivery to the winner or does the winner have to drive all over the TC area to collect all this stuff? 2) Is the current bid by VMAX97 at $325 the top bid? At a minimum I will meet up with the winner for for th...

Re: Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

So the upper/lower from the top gun pictured? This: receiver.jpg Correct. Will try to get new pics to prevent confusion. My understanding is the others have contributed to the package being offered here. So the winner would win everything that has been offered. My dogs are my best friends, and I do...

Re: Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

The bronze receiver set. It shows up on a rifle but I only test fitted it with some other components. I didn't have any other pictures at the time but can take some more.

Auction for Bluto and his pup (AR15 Receivers)

I am offering up an AR-15 receiver set to help raise money for member Bluto and his pup that is in need of ACL surgery. All money will be donated to his surgery fund. Winner must provide proof of eligibility/legality to own (PTC/PTP). My cost to build was around $600, I'd like to start the bidding a...
