Target shooting during archery season

Thanks! That's what I thought. Other hunters shouldn't be a problem. We'll be on 120 acres of private land and will be clearing some trails and setting up some trail cameras in the area where we'll be shooting, so if anyone does sneak in there, we will almost certainly spot them. It's super thick in...

Target shooting during archery season

Is there any rules about target shooting during archery season? I'm hoping to sight in a rifle this weekend, but my brother told me you can't be in the woods with a rifle during bow season. I'm pretty sure he's mistaken, but couldn't find anything about it on the DNR's website, so,thought I'd check ...

Re: Zimmerman Self-Defense Trial off to Acceptable Start :)

:(
lose/lose situation.
Either an innocent man goes to prison, or we'll get to see race riots across the country.
It's really a shame that that this had to happen, or rather that the media and race-baiters had to turn it into what they did.

Re: Walther P22

I say get it, especially if her carry gun is going to be a ppk. I cannot think of why it would not be suitable for new shooters. I've only shot one once, but from what I remember it was a fun little gun.

I have heard they have reliability issues though.

Re: Snow day with my new PM9

A-grip made by brooks tactical: http://www.brookstactical.com/index-2.html I had it on a PM9 and loved it. I think the checkering on the grip is way too aggressive, with the agrip stuff it was really comfortable. It almost feels like suede. Very durable and grippy. Another thing I liked about it was...

Re: Accent Signage

Wait just a second...
Isn't that the place where that guy shot a bunch of people?
How the heck did he do that if he'd clearly wasn't allowed to bring a gun in there. :d'oh:

Re: Serious questions from gun owner re registration, other laws

If the goal is to reduce the number of "gun deaths", the answer is simple: end the "war on drugs". Unfortunately that is not what is driving the push for "gun control". it will not even be addressed, as the goal is solely to disarm our population. universal background c...

Re: best quote I've seen in a while

Doesn't say anything about hunting either. Thats why the third amendment doesn't say anything about fishing. another curiosity: while the 2A says "the right of the people", government officials are exempt from the current proposed ban. Isn't that the exact opposite of what the founders int...

Re: Betty McCollum Town Hall meeting???????

Good observation ED. None of her answers really said much more than "there needs to be a discussion", she just never got to the discussion part.
Somewhat evasive answers, especially when pressed on why she saw fit to go after specific platforms (like the AR).
