Re: Am I the only one...

I've shot a only few. Recently, I used my neighbor's Glock 27 (.40) at the local range, and found that it was very accurate, even with my pinky skidding below the magazine. Really nice gun. Like you, the Mrs. and I have been drawn towards Springfields. Prices are quite compelling for what you get.

Re: Looking for a .22 for my wife

Any good recommendations? I thought about a Walther P22 or Mosquito... My wife has a Walther P22 w/5" barrel and she loves it. Nice grip with adjustment "pads". Not snappy at all (5" barrel+compensator helps), and has excellent sights. She likes that it's SA/DA firearm. Maybe yo...

Re: i looked at a Kimber today, and almost came home with it

I have two Kimbers and haven't had a spec of trouble with either one (not even during the "break in" period). One of the two is the Custom II Stainless, which I will never regret buying. Amen. During my "break-in" period, I put a healthy mix of FMJ and HP through it with not a s...

Re: Firearms Freedom and Castle Doctrine

I'm using the term "Castle Doctrine" generally. "Stand Your Ground" is what I am talking about. GOCRA was going to push this after MPPA and Range Protection, but it seems to have fizzled out. How can I get involved? I'm with Erik here. Wife and I would like to be/get involved. H...

Re: Hello from the Rochester area!

Thanks everyone!

@Bessy, oddly enough, my wife and I were shooting at the Southern Minnesota Sportsman's Club a couple of weeks ago, and a gentleman also extended an invitation to the PIWPSC PIPS. We'll have to check that out one of these days :) Thanks.

Hello from the Rochester area!

Hello from the rural Rochester area. Wife, and two sons and I are all firearms enthusiasts.
