Re: Best tactical rifle under $2000...

Through the scoped barreled action into a folding McRee persicion stock ($700). With that, anything within a grand you will own. (and I’m aw...

There are plenty to go around. And a few less will make the hunt that much more fun.

Re: Movement to repeal silencer ban

Okay, at the risk of getting flamed I have to ask. What is the need/use of a silencer? Al Well there are a lot. First hearing safety for everyone (from kids just learning to hunters to competitors to cops and tactical operators), second they increase the enjoyment of shooting greatly, third it open...

Re: SBR legality question for member

Remember a city ordinance violation is only a misdemeanor (state law) which means its only a citaiton unless they can show reason for one of the exceptions.

Re: Automatic knife

I carry one of my benchmades everyday and love them - be advised there are laws that regulate them however no one seems to really care and I have never seen it charged alone (meaning if your dumb and get jammed on something it may get tacked on as an additional charge). I carry the Benchmade 2550 wi...

Re: Need help finding a 308

If you love the Rem700, why not the 700 SPS Tactical in .308? Nice idea - what does it cost to knock down the barrel and recrown it? taking off 6 inches of the barrel would for sure lighten it up to under 7lbs and its one of the few that has a 1 in 10 twist. When did the stop making the ADLs? The s...

Need help finding a 308

Ok here is the preliminary info - has to be a 308win - barrel 18-20 inches (with a 1 in 10 preferred) - bolt action/repeater (doesn’t mater weather internal or magazine) - sub MOA accuracy (preferred) - weigh under 7lbs - reasonably priced Reason for this rifle, it will be the only light bolt action...
