Re: Permit renewal question.

yukonjasper wrote:That might be exactly what I'm looking for. How did the range qualifying work?

I met with the instructor at a little range in Kasson... west of Rochester. Some on-topic conversation, a little bs-ing, and 10 rounds into a pistol target.

Re: Permit renewal question.

My wife did her renewal in Dakota county a few months back, and I believe it was 8 days total from dropping it off to permit in the mailbox. I think the fee went down to $50 ($75 last time I renewed mine) also. Good to know. I am up in April. Need to find a class and get going on the renewal. Only ...

Re: Seeking Advice For Scope Rings 30 mm

I like the Burris Z rings with the inserts. I use 5 MoA from the inserts on top a 20 Moa rail. Keeps the cross hairs close to the center of the optics at long range. You might not need that much elevation with that round I think I used the mid-height for my 10 - 50x 60mm Sightron As I recall, Burris...

Re: Permit renewal question.

Go outside your local MN county to get better service. I went to Center City / Lindstrum Sheriff Office for a new license (old one expired in July) in mid-December and received the new license before Christmas, about a 5 day turnaround. Previous licenses were from Washington County. My new Wisconsi...

Re: False Flag Warning -- January 17th 12PM Protest

Hmmm....if the Red Flag-Gun Confiscation law passed would showing up at one of these rallies be evidence enough to get "flagged"? I know this is a stupid question because the RF-GC law hasn't been passed yet so nobody knows WHAT it would be like but I do wonder. I also wonder if showing u...

Re: Mailchimp joins list of tech companies CENSORING DISSENT

So why doesn't an entrepreneur open a site called mail gorilla that does the same thing and compete? I'm not saying what they did was correct, but the energy and resources spent arm twisting a company that hates you to carry your content would be better applied to supporting the company that steps ...

Re: The Propaganda machine is really cranking it out

For some reason the media hasn't mentioned much about the 2 violent Canadian citizens, arrested near Fergus Falls, Mn with 67 firearms in their vehicle. Even though these two appear to have been heading for the metro, something about the story must not fit the current narrative of white supremacist ...

Re: The Propaganda machine is really cranking it out

What? Didn't they like the redecorating along Lake Street? It will be telling to see if there will be the same ''in-your-face' preparations as the trials of the cops accused in George Floyd's death unravel, and conclude. If so, it will be a rather offensive affront to certain communities the left a...
