Re: Slow Motion .450 Bushmaster

Yes, it is a Casio EX-F1 and they don't make them any more. The cheaper ones Casio came out with after the EX-F1 don't have nearly the quality or resolution of the EX-F1. I've looked for one like it that will do higher FPS, but they get WAY expensive. Using the 1200fps is tricky, mostly because of t...

Re: DPMS Input

I have one, my father in law has one and his buddy has one...they bought theirs after seeing mine. We've never had any problems with them. I like mine a lot.

Re: CZ-527 or Romanian PSL ?

Are you Finnish? I'm just getting started. :) No, I'm not Finnish, but I like their guns! I have a Tikka T3 Can the M28/76 be scoped, without an modifications? I am leaning toward something in 7.62x54r...I wish the "Record" hunting rifle was available in the USA http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/...

Re: CZ-527 or Romanian PSL ?

I've never hear anything miraculous about the 39 round for long range accuracy. I've shot both, but neither at any long distance. I guess I'd do the 54r if it's just for long range, but cost wise it's kinda hard to lose. Which gun is cheaper? I think they are pretty close in price, once you add a d...

CZ-527 or Romanian PSL ?

I would like to get a scoped rifle in a cheap to shoot caliber. I have kind of narrowed down my choices to a CZ 527 in 7.62x39 or a Romanian PSL in 7.62x54r Occasionally I get the chance to shoot steel at 300+ yards, and .223 & 30.06 get kind of expensive to shoot (the other 2 scoped rifles I ha...

Re: New Gun or New Camera???

spend the extra money and get a digital SLR. They focus much faster than point&shoots, and have better picture quality too.
It's nearly impossible to take a sharp picture of my 2yr old without using my dSLR, a fast lens and high ISO.

Re: Man arrested for defending his home with an AK

He had to go inside to grab the rifle and tell his wife to call 911...should have stayed there. That sums up this guy's legal troubles. Also it would be far easier to shoot the scumbags from a choke point inside the house as they entered. Wait at the top of the stairs and wait for them to funnel on...

Re: Looking for some FUN

I've seen the barrel blow off of a Taurus .357 Magnum....spend the extra for a S&W, Colt, Ruger etc... How about a nice, slightly used S&W? No blown off barrel here. http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii84/john8284/SW629blowup.jpg Holy cow, now I am totally afraid of revolve...

Re: Another exhibit from Seismic Sam's Little Shop of Horrors

Wow that's pretty crazy...I'll be sure not to load any .380s into my 9mm

I've had some 7.62x54r cases split towards the front, but there is no gas blow back when they split up there. I just noticed a split case when I was picking up my steel casings..
