If you read the story in the link, he has over 20 arrests to his credit already.

No...I meant more arrests of the rest of the carjackers.

Re: Did gun permit holder turn argument deadly or was it self-de

Hard to say what really happened without hearing the full story, but road rage incidents are never good. I always try to remember to keep myself under control when another driver does something stupid or thinks I did. Hard to defend the "unwilling participant" aspect if you gesture back or...

Re: This Encrypted Gun Registry Might Bridge a Partisan Divide

Sounds like the kind of thing that would come from a University these days. How will they account for firearms lost in tragic accidents like the one I had last week when all my firearms fell through the ice when I was out fishing?

Re: Biden Says He Will ‘Defeat the NRA’ While in Office

What if the very existence of groups like GOA is to weaken and destroy the NRA. Undermine and divide funding- divide and conquer. 2nd amendment people are being eaten alive by their sense of personal independence, they don't trust anybody and won't stick around to help fix what is broken. On to the...

Re: 2021 is going to be a horrible year for gun rights

Interesting article in the most recent issue of Guns & Ammo. In 2016 the NRA poured $54 million into getting Trump elected. Then the issue of scandal within the NRA was raised. This election cycle, the NRA was only able to put $16 million into Trump's reelection. This is the first year the anti ...

Re: Springfield XD-S recall

Finally got to shoot mine last Saturday after having gotten it back at the end of January. I didn't really notice a significant difference, I had one failure to feed but it was a reload. Otherwise, it shot well. My groupings were decent. I have no complaints except it took me entirely too long to ge...

Re: Ruger LCR

Gander Mtn and good price could be a contradiction. Lol. The LCR is a fine little revolver. I carry a Charter Arms On Duty and love it. It has a larger grip that fits my hand. But I tend to carry IWB instead of pocket.

Re: Carrying in the cold with gloves?

I tried some Blackhawk shooter's gloves, but they aren't much warmer than nothing. I just plan to yank off with my teeth then draw, as someone else suggested. Or, if I sense a threat, I just take my gloves off and be ready.

Re: Springfield XD-S recall

Grimbeaver- the problem is I don't get home until nearly 6pm so paying for 5-8pm just made no sense. None-the-less I was able to pick it up tonight at the depot in Roseville, where the sign on the door, ironically, told me FedEx bans guns on these premises. Haha.

Re: Springfield XD-S recall

Damn FedEx. When I got my notice that they shipped my XDS back to me, I called FedEx because no one is at home here during the day. I was specifically told they would deliver after 6pm when I would be home. Yep...they came early...got the infamous "door tag". So I called them and tried aga...

Re: Springfield XD-S recall

My XDS 45 is on it's way back to me. Sent it October 1st. It worked flawlessly when I shipped it out so hopefully it will work flawlessly when I get it back. It is my favorite carry gun. I already have a range trip planned to try it out.
