Re: Emergency gun loan, looking for stories

We loaned all three of them guns that matched their personal carry pieces. 1 x 1911 for Dave 1 x Glock 19 for Jeff 1 x XDm for Roland. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Wait a minute. Where the hell did you ge...

Re: Emergency gun loan, looking for stories

When Vvrroomm's fancy 1911 fell apart shooting IDPA one evening. He barrowed my GLOCK to shoot the match. Does that count?

Re: First squib

I googled squib and went to Images and there were some Ugly sawed-in-half barrels with 5-6 bullets jammed in: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/outdoor-sports-recreation/741905d1360194533-squib-round-22-f-scuib.jpg Looks like the damage comes from the bullets AFTER the firs...

I have not tried either of those companies. For my 1911 and 2011 the only bullets I use are http://www.blackbulletsinternational.com

Re: Zimmerman Arrested for

The fact Zimmerman only had 100 rounds tells me he doesn't train regularly, which IMHO puts him on the border of being reckless by carrying a firearm in public. I've never taken a training class and I guess I don't consider it training when I go to the range or shoot in a match. Are you saying I sh...

Re: Burnsville Pistol Range Practical Pistol Winter League

I had a bunch of fun last night, two good stages and lots of great people. Thanks to the ROs for keeping everyone safe and I don't envy Skyrock having to score the second stage. Don't feel bad for him! He made the bed now he gets to sleep in it. Interesting way to make a revolver friendly stage. 8-)

Re: 1911 made in the USA vs everywhere else?

Not trying to sound all over the place but asking someone to pick you a 1911 is like asking your wife to pick out your girlfriend . Your going to get a lot of advice and not much of it what you want to hear and non you will be happy with after the fact. Don't knock it until you try it. One of the b...

On the plus side it would be a nice warm drink. Sort of like tea.

This right here is why I don't drink tea.

Two different businesses in the same building. There is the reloading side and the gun side.

Re: Brass

I have a ******* of it. Is there anywhere to sell it? Depending on what you have, I could recycle it for you. I am doing such for another member. What I sell or can use myself, you will be paid a percentage. The scrap I am saving for a sale with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald house in Roches...

Re: Minor mystery about my tumbler

All of this fairly well thought out, physics, vector math, and pseudo-science really makes you wonder on what would happen if you put your OWN nuts in a vibrating tumbler. I would certainly want the center stem cut down to the bowl bottom, but beyond that this is a wonderful opportunity to get some...
